"Do you think you're ready for this?" I nodded at Peyton, lacing my hand in with hers as we walked in the queue.

"I can already feel the heat from outside." She chuckled, dressed in shorts and vest whilst I wore jeans and a hoodie.

"Wait for it." We took a couple more paces, before after our long flight we were finally outdoors. "Welcome to the world of down under!"

I'd never seen sun so bright, taking in the view around me. "It's beautiful." 

"And this is why I've been telling you to come to Sydney for so long." We carries on walking down to the ground and into the airport. "I'm so excited for this week."

I looked across and noticed the wide smile across her face as she too took in what was around us. "Me too, I'm looking forward to experiencing all things Australia."

Her head moved to lean on my shoulder, squeezing my hand a little tighter. "Good, because I promise that the next seven days are going to be the best of your life!"

"And I couldn't wish for a better person to spend it with," I added, kissing the top of her head sweetly.
