His footsteps was all I could hear marching up the stairs causing me to slam my laptop down so the screen fell black.
My hands quickly wiped under my blotchy eyes hoping to disguise the tears that had been shed when he walked into the room, smiling down at me.
"Hey," he whispered, instantly appearing by my side on the bed, brushing his hair out of his face. His eyes stared at me for a few moments, studying me closely. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah," I smiled, cringing at the sound of my voice breaking.
"Don't lie to me babe," he continued, giving me a stern glance. His eyes wandered down noticing my laptop on the bed. "You haven't?"
"I'm sorry." A few hot tears began to roll down my cheek, causing his thumbs to wipe them away.
"You don't need to get upset," he whispered, sitting up and wrapping his muscular arms around me. His eyes were still on me, making me look up at him. "Smile, for me."
"Shut up," I muttered burying my face into his chest.
"Sorry, I just don't want to see you sad. Do you wanna talk about it? Allow me to tell you how every tweet is wrong," he offered, pulling the screen back up.
