"Do you want to hold her?" I looked up at Tye who was sitting on the end of my bed, holding his arms out as the midwife placed our new baby girl in his arms. His eyes melted at the sight of her as I watched him carefully. He placed his finger in her hands, smiling down at her. I grabbed my phone taking a few photographs of them, until he finally noticed me sat staring. "You wanna see her?" He asked, as I nodded. He walked over sitting beside me.
"Oh my gosh," I whispered at the sight of our little girl. I ran my hand across the top of her head, a few tiny hairs brushing over my skin. I felt Tye kiss the top of my head. "Welcome to the world my gorgeous girl." I leaned my head into Tye's chest.
"I'm so proud of you, you were amazing." Tye handed me our daughter, as a couple of tears rolled down my cheeks. "Hey, no tears." Tye told me wiping them away.
"I can't believe she's here after so long." Her little eyelids fluttered open as me and Tye smiled down at her.
"We're going to protect you so much, and love you more then anything else in the world," Tye told her, leaning down and kissing the top of her head.
