I laced my hand in Bayley's as we walked down the street. "Hey!" We turned around and saw a little boy screaming over to get our attention.
"Just keep walking," I whispered at her. We carried on but the little kid decided he wanted to carry on walking behind us.
"I'm talking to you two." We turned around looking at him as he stared up at us. "You're Bayley." He said pointing at my girlfriend. She nodded back at him. "You're rubbish, you can't wrestle at all." I hated hearing people speak negatively of my girl so instantly I stood in.
"Watch your mouth little boy, I'm not afraid to give you a chop myself." His jaw trembled as I stared down at him. It didn't take long for him to cower away, running off down the street. I placed my hand back in Bayley's walking away.
"Why did you do that for? He was only a little kid, just a fan." She asked me, defending the little boy.
"I'm sorry, I guess I just want to protect you from all the horrible comments." She smiled at me, squeezing my hand tightly.
"I love that about you, but I'm fine, it's all part of the job." I nodded feeling rather guilty as she leaned over and pecked my cheek.
