"Who did this?" Shane asked, picking the brick up with one hand, keeping his other hand in front of me.
"I don't know, I wasn't looking out of the window shockingly." His head shot to glare at me unimpressed.
"Anyone with a motive? You've upset? Doesn't like you?" The barrage of questions weren't helping whilst we stood in the mess of shards of glass.
"I don't know Shane, it's probably just kids, stop worrying." He didn't move, locking his eyes on me.
"Stop worrying!" He exclaimed. "What if you'd have been hurt? Do you know what glass can do?"
"Of course I do, but I'm fine, stop getting so stressed and focus on the mess." He looked down briefly at all the pieces of shattered glass.
"That doesn't matter to me, I just want to make sure you're alright, I just want to protect you." I slowly moved my hand forward so it laced in with his own, bringing it down.
"I'm fine, just a bit shook up, we just need to focus now on what to do next." He nodded in agreement, taking a step back away.
"You stay clear and I'll sort this out, you never know what the kids can do these days."
