Strangers

Heard this song of Halsey's and knew that I wanted to make a one shot of it as soon as I could. I love this song sooo much and I hope you guys like it as well ! I might also be changing some of the lyrics to match the story as well! Hope you guys enjoy it!!!

Astrid and Hiccup sat in the cove, wrapped in each others arms. Their lips were glued to each other unlike any other thing they'd ever seen. This was their secret place. Their secret bliss, and it was gonna stay that way. Hiccup held her closer with every minute, hoping she wouldn't leave. Astrid clutched his face harder and deepened the kiss with every second. This was heaven.

SNAP! 

The young couple tore away from each other and brought their attention to the dragon that was trying to sneak his way in. He smiled that cute toothless smile that always warms hearts everywhere.

"I guess that's our cue to go." Hiccup said reluctantly, he wanted to stay as much as Astrid but if they were gone for too long everyone would get suspicious. "Come on..."

It's been 2 days since their little make-out session in the cove, and nothing more had happened. Astrid was worried. She wanted to kiss him again, even if it's just for a second. She tried to tell herself to stop but she couldn't.

She walked up to Hiccup's house and knocked gently on the oak door. She heard its echoes fill the hut and felt her heart beat faster. Suddenly the door creaked open to reveal the beauty behind.

"Astrid? What are you doing here?" Hiccup questioned.

"I needed to meet you... Be with you." Astrid admitted quietly. Hiccups expression changed to anger.

"Astrid... What happened, that was just a one time thing okay..." Hiccup stated. Astrid's face fell, what was he saying?

"But Hiccup..."

"No, Astrid! We're done. Okay? No more of... This! From now on we're just strangers, not lovers. Got it!" Hiccup said finally before slamming the door. Astrid tried to stop him but failed as she slammed the door with her fist.

"I-I-I-I'm so sorry..." Astrid whispered through the door. She picked herself up and walked away from the door and sighed and she began to sing:

I know the end is sad but what the heck...

I'm out of ideas for this book but I'm trying to update my other one shot book as well so... I'm gonna try and think of another one shot but if any of you have an idea please tell me!!!
