I critiqued your work already, and mentioned the things that you need to fix, but I also want to have a little write up to go with it.
I really like your story. Granted, there are a few issues but it's nothing too dramatic that would result in someone's untimely death. Your form of story-telling isn't one that I see very often and enjoy. Usually, I follow it up with a dramatic sigh, and a lot of skimming. I couldn't do that with your story. I enjoyed reading it and found that everything made me think. It might not have been anything ground breaking, but there is a meaning behind your story. Or to put it differently, your story has it's own story. There's substance to it, mystery and creativity where you could have simply fallen into common tropes. I felt like I was reading an original story, and with my entire being I appreciate that.
I know you didn't ask for my rambling, but I'm subjected you to it anyways! :)
