Author: Cross-Warrior
Plot:
It's Cinderella just with an evil fairy godmother who wants to kill the prince. It isn't super unique but it does seem a little interesting. I don't know, there really isn't anything about it that blows my mind though. It's just whatever.

Descriptions:
Meh, they happen and exist. They aren't the worst that I have ever read in my lifetime but they are no where near the best. They are almost adequate which for some people is good enough.

Characters:
Ehh, again. There really isn't anything that is super stellar and interesting about them. Even the fairy and her hidden evilness was just mediocre. I don't know there really wasn't anything in the prologue that really made me want to keep reading and that characters can influence that a lot.

What I Hated:
She was beautiful. Is kind of a horrible way to start a story, it didn't really grab my attention and was just sorta like "Mmmkaaaayyy". It doesn't do a good job of really hooking the reader, which the first line or paragraph should.
I couldn't care less that her hair has previously been in a messy bun... there is nothing about that that draws in my attention and really holds it, still. Also, what is with the mention of the dirt that once flecked her body is gone? Also another detail that at least at this moment seems super irrelevant.
I feel like the fairy is going to be evil. Just because this is a retelling and that would only make sense.
I was right.
Also those last two things aren't what I hated, just me doing what I want.

Overall:
It's fine. There isn't anything super offensive about it, but there also wasn't anything amazing about it. Just an average book.
