Stretching his legs, Max woke up to find all his friends inside his apartment. "What the heck guys?!" he exclaimed, jumping out of his bed. Raising his paws in defense, Snowball explained, "Dude, relax! We're all here because Pops just announced that he was going to hold a party over at his apartment." In the background, the elderly basset hound called out, "We just need to know how many are coming!" Immediately, Snowball and Leonard raised their paws in the air. However, Mel shook his head. "Buddy, Sweetpea, and I have something to do," he informed, dragging his two friends along before they could protest.
Licking his whiskers, Ozone stated, "I'm going to ask Lily out on a date!" With that, he padded out of the apartment. Snowball and Leonard watched the hairless cat leave, shock written on their faces. Chuckling, Chloe muttered, "I'm not going." Staring at the tabby, Pops spoke, "There'll be cake." Glancing up, Chloe changed her answer, "I'm coming." Max and Gidget rolled their eyes as they turned down the old dog's offer. "No offense, but we have other plans," Gidget apologized.
Scratching behind his ear, Duke piped up, "I'll be there, don't worry." Clearing his throat, Tiberius pointed out, "Sorry, but Norman and I are going to be flying around the city." Norman, however, rubbed his head with a small paw as he mumbled, "Actually, I was... going on my fifteenth date with Lisa." Before the hawk could ask, a gray and white guinea pig with aqua blue eyes exited from a nearby air vent and approached Norman. "Almost ready Norman?" the guinea pig asked sweetly, kissing his cheek. Blushing, Norman's face turned a bright red as he nodded his head. Glancing at Tiberius, the young guinea pig promised, "We can hangout tomorrow, okay?"
Just before the guinea pigs entered the air vents, Tiberius called out, "Norman, wait! I..." The guinea pig looked back as the hawk paused. "I... I hope you have fun..." the old hawk finished, lowering his gaze in sadness. Smiling, Norman replied, "Thanks!" With that, he followed the female guinea pig. Sighing, the hawk muttered something under his breath as he headed for the open window. Sharing a worried look with Max, Gidget followed her best friend onto the fire escape.
