"Is everyone okay?!" Duke asked as he and Pops made their way over. The elderly basset hound nuzzled Chloe, who merely hissed at him. Snowball was staring at the blockage in front of the exit. He pulled on his ears in anguish as he wailed. Yet no sound came forth. "Are there others still trapped?" Duke asked Max. His brother slowly nodded his head.
Just then, Mel and Sweetpea came over. "Other than a few Flushed Pets and one or two pets, nobody knows where Buddy is," Mel whispered, his voice filled with fear. Sighing, Gidget prayed, "Let's hope no one else we know is trapped or missing."
All of the sudden, a small yet familiar voice could be heard on the other side of the blockade, "Guys, we can't get through!" Looking up, Chloe exclaimed, "Norman?!"
