"MONSTER!" Tiberius screeched, his light brown eyes flashing red with anger. Before anyone could stop him, the outraged hawk launched himself at Danger. However, the pit bull was ready for the attack. Flicking his tail so the spikes would open, he merely whirled around and whacked the hawk, sending him crashing into the mountain of boxes. Turning back towards the group though, Danger was almost unprepared for the next attempt as Ozone and Nitro lunged at his face.
While the others either surrounded Danger or ran for cover, Norman ran over to where his best friend had crashed. Clambering out of the boxes, Tiberius snarled, "I'm gonna kill him, I swear!" The old hawk was shaking uncontrollably. His eyes settled on the pit bull as blood seeped out from the thin scars left by the metal tail. Still trembling, he was about to launch himself at the pit bull again. Worried, Norman stopped him in his tracks. "Norman, get out of my way," Tiberius growled firmly. Shocked, the hawk stared at the guinea pig. "Sorry," Norman mumbled in a quiet voice. Clearing his throat, he pointed out, "Tiberius, Danger was purposely trying to get in our heads. He was doing that so it would be easier to kill us all in our grieving state. We have to use our wits, not our emotions, to take him down."
Taking deep breaths, Tiberius rested his head upon one of the boxes. "How can I? All I can think about is tearing him apart." Reaching a paw forward, Norman stroked his head gently as he answered, "You're the smartest person I know. If it helps, I suggest thinking about something to fight for, not fight against." The hawk's eyes lit up as he lifted his head. "Alright, let's get him."
Turning back around, Norman suddenly tripped over something. Looking over his shoulder, he realized it was a canister. "Silly String..." he read, confused. Tilting his head, Tiberius opened another box and pulled out a skateboard. In another box, the pair found a Nerf gun. "Norman, it's a toy factory," Tiberius whispered. Smiling at each other, the two friends seemed to be thinking the same thing as they got to work...
