Pacing along the dock, Danger huffed angrily. Nearby, his most loyal lieutenants sat alert. The sun was rising into the sky just as the scruffy mutt arrived at the dock. "You took your time rookie," Danger growled.
Bowing his head in respect, the scruffy mutt replied, "Sorry, but I believe I have some news that might benefit Death and Darkness." Danger motioned for him to continue. Gulping, the scruffy mutt went on, "It is that time of year again..."
Face lighting p, Danger murmured, "You mean..." The scruffy mutt nodded his head, his tail tucked tightly between his legs as his entire body shook with fear. He shook even harder when he saw the sinister smile creeping up on Danger's face.
Laughing quietly, Danger patted the mutt on the back gently as he spoke with a slight snarl mingling with his words, "Excellent, here's what I want you to do for me..."
