Two days later, Danger stood on the dock, staring grimly at the skyline of Manhattan as the sun sank below the horizon. His left ear detected a small noise behind him. "I should hope by now that you've learned that there is no way of sneaking up on me," he growled, slowly turning around.

Blinking her remaining eye, Star bowed her head in respect. "I know," she whispered, "I just wanted to ask you about your new leg." Her right eye was fixed on Danger's metal left leg. Lifting it, Danger remarked, "It's a good replacement, but I don't know how strong it is yet." Lifting her gaze, Star advised, "Maybe you should test it out."

Suddenly, Danger whirled around and struck a nearby wooden post. Splinters flew through the air. Star kept her mouth shut as Danger reported, "Looks like it passed the test."
