Padding quietly along the street, Duke kept his eyes on the lookout. He was searching for a certain someone. Yet he had very little success. Sighing, he sniffed the air for a familiar scent. "Are you looking for me?" a voice called out softly. Wagging his tail, Duke turned around.
Sky was waiting for him in a small alley, a smile on her face. Her blue eyes met his brown ones. They stared at each other in awkward silence until Duke piped up, "So, I thought I could... show you around the city." He scuffed his foot nervously. Giggling, Sky padded over and licked his cheek, causing Duke's heart to flutter. "I would love that," she whispered in his ear, her fluffy tail wagging. Duke's tail wagged as well.
