Opening his eyes, Max was greeted by a ray of sunlight. Standing up, he stretched his legs and headed for his bowl just Katie passed him. "Bye boys, be good!" she cried as she left. Not even three seconds after she shut the door, however, a familiar rabbit and white Pomeranian showed up at the window.

"Hey Snowball, hey Gidget! What's up?" Duke spoke before Max could get a chance to open his mouth. Shrugging his shoulders, Snowball replied, "I honestly don't know Fat Dog. Maybe meet up with some old friends of mine." Tail wagging, Gidget walked up to Max and licked his cheek lovingly. "Max and I are going to hangout with each other today," she answered Duke's question. Max's tail thumped on the floor with happiness. Chuckling quietly, Snowball turned to look at Duke and asked, "How about you?"

Scratching his ear, Duke responded, "I think I'll be with Sky today. Show her around the city. That kind of thing." A teasing glint appeared in Snowball's eyes as he opened his mouth. "Don't you dare!" Duke shouted, silencing the rabbit before he said anything ridiculous.
