Terrified to death, Pepe cowered behind a box. No one had seen him hide. "Chloe, I think you broke something!" Buddy cried, struggling underneath the pile. However, the tabby cat had blacked out. "Someone get her off!" Mel whimpered. Sweetpea, dazed, fell forward. "Guys, hang on! I'm coming!" Duke shouted, running to their rescue. However, he didn't get very far when Danger whacked him in the face. The giant dog crashed on top of Ozone and Nitro. Whimpering, Pepe tucked his tail between his legs.
"Somebody help us!" Mel shouted, hoping he would be heard. Max and Gidget shared a doubtful look as Mel continued his shouting. "SILENCE!" Danger roared. Immediately, Mel quit screaming. Breathing a huge sigh of relief, Danger looked down at the pile. Leaning down, he whispered menacingly, "You know, you people are a bunch of frightened weasels."
Suddenly, Pepe could feel his blood boiling inside him. Shaking his fears away, the chihuahua crept out of his hiding spot. Thankfully, Danger had his back turned. Crouching down low, Pepe pounced on the pit bull's back and climbed up towards his head. Surprised, Danger began shaking his head, eventually flinging the chihuahua off. Banging his head on the floor, Pepe blacked out instantly...
