As the animals departed their own ways, Ozone spotted Lily walking away with a calico and a black and white cat. Smiling to himself, the hairless cat sprinted after the three and stopped right in their path. Groaning, Lily hissed through clenched teeth, "I am going to give five seconds to get out of my sight!" Her companions backed her up with vicious growls.
Ignoring the obvious threat, Ozone begged, "Please Lily, just give me a chance. PLEASE!" For extra measure, he batted his eyes lovingly. Hissing in his face, Lily shoved Ozone out of her way and passed by him, her friends following close behind her. Just then, Tattoo and Ripper strolled over. "Man, you just don't give up," Tattoo noted, his eyes filled with pity. Ripper grunted twice in a sympathetic tone. Sitting up, Ozone retorted, "When it comes to love, I never quit!"
