"Did you bring him?!" Danger barked, his tail thrashing around. A Rottweiler and a greyhound stood before him. "Killer and Misty went to retrieve him," the greyhound murmured, glancing at his metal hind leg. He refused to look Danger in the eye, recalling the incident that cost him his limb. The Rottweiler scratched what remained of his right ear. Nearby, a wolfhound mix and a large mutt were battle training. The pair were supervised by a once beautiful German shepherd. Her right eye gleamed amber in the sunlight.

Just then, a Doberman and a Great Dane mix dragged a scruffy looking mutt before the others. Danger advanced towards the newcomer, who cowered in fear. The rest gathered in a circle. "So, how can we help each other out?" Danger whispered menacingly. Gulping, the scruffy mutt mumbled, "I could act as a spy for you if you provide me protection." He squeezed his eyes shut, fearing the worst.

Fortunately for the mutt, he had nothing to fear as Danger responded, "I like the way you're thinking."
