"Alright, now you can open your eyes," Max's voice spoke softly. Giggling to herself, Gidget opened them to discover a delicious meal before her. A giant plate of spaghetti and meatballs sat on a small table, a lit candle standing beside it. "Oh Max..." Gidget began, lost for words. "I had to give Chloe five boxes of cupcakes for all of this!" the small dog exclaimed.
Giggling again, Gidget licked Max's cheek lovingly. Smiling, the two dogs sat down and took a bite just as the front door swung open. "Guys, we've got a serious situation!" Snowball informed the lovers, fear written on his face.
