"Wait until I get my paws around your throats," Danger growled menacingly as he dug at the floor ferociously. "I'd like to see you try," Duke retorted. Standing beside him, Snowball curled his own paws into fists. Chloe, Ozone, and Nitro bared their teeth bravely. Glancing around, Gidget piped up, "There's still fifteen of us and one of you here." Clearing his throat, Leonard murmured, "Actually, there's thirteen of us..." Just then, Mel and Buddy raced past. "Never mind..." Leonard muttered.
"Mel accidentally lit some fireworks!" Buddy shouted as he and Mel dashed for the entrance. Sweetpea and Pepe soon followed. "Wait, Mel did WHAT?!" Chloe shrieked as she and Pops went after them. Frightened, Ozone and Nitro helped Norman get Tiberius outside while Leonard jumped through a window. "Why am I not surprised that Mel did something like this?" Snowball grumbled. "How about we ask ourselves that later?!" Duke shouted, grabbing the rabbit. Max and Gidget were already tearing out the door.
The moment Duke stepped outside, Snowball managed to catch a glimpse of some fireworks hurtling towards Danger, who was still trapped underneath the giant concrete block. Then the force of the explosions sent the group flying through the air...
