Later that day, the sky opened up and unleashed a powerful rainstorm upon the city below. Gazing out through a window, Pops commented, "Mother Nature sure isn't happy today." Chloe was about to toss an orange at his head when Gidget and Max quickly tackled her. "Come on Chloe, get a grip on yourself!" Gidget snarled in Chloe's face.
From where he sat next to the couch, Duke mumbled, "I hope it's not like this on my date with Sky." Groaning, Snowball snapped, "Fat Dog, your date isn't until the eighth of July. It's currently the twenty-eighth of June!" Gidget glared at the white rabbit from where she and Max still had Chloe pinned.
"Wow, rainy days sure can change a person," Mel remarked. Sweetpea chirped quietly in agreement with his friend.
