Chloe and the rest of the gang watched as a dark shadow passed over Danger as the giant concrete block made its descent. Scowling, the pit bull began running towards them. But it was already too late. Chloe cringed at the sound of metal plating and bones breaking. It was so loud, it actually brought Pepe back to consciousness.

Climbing out of a small booth connected to the crane that had dropped the block, Max trotted over to Gidget. Relieved, she hugged him. Peering through the cloud of dust that came forth, Duke questioned, "Does anyone see anything?" Shaking his head, Snowball murmured, "He most certainly was crushed."

"Think again, idiot!" a voice growled. Frozen stiff with fear, Chloe glanced over to see Danger, still alive, underneath the concrete block. Though the lower half of his body was stuck, the pit bull could move his head and shoulders. And he was trying to dig himself out. "Great, he's the Terminator!" Ozone muttered. Trembling, Nitro and Pepe hid behind Leonard and Pops. Tiberius quickly pulled Norman closer to his chest. A groan came forth from Duke as he exclaimed, "Can anything kill this guy?!"

"Can anything kill you people?! Seriously, I hypnotized Snowball last year to get you people out of the city! And yet you survived!" Danger barked, still digging. A gasp went through the group. "That was you!" Chloe shouted. Eyes narrowing, Sweetpea suddenly chirped an entire sentence angrily. Another gasp was heard. "Dude, language?!" Snowball cried. Meanwhile, Tiberius covered Norman's ears before the parakeet could say anymore. "There were five, very harsh words in that sentence," Leonard whispered to Pops, who nodded his head in agreement.

Moaning, Chloe grumbled, "Where the heck is Mel and Buddy?!"
