"Come on guys! Let's get him!" Chloe shouted over her shoulder. Glancing at each other, Mel and Buddy quickly followed the tabby cat as they raced towards Danger's blind side. "Snowball, I have an idea!" Leonard shouted at the rabbit as he and Pops raced off. Moaning, Snowball dashed after them just as Ozone and Nitro flew above Duke's head after getting whacked.
Suddenly, Mel sensed that he and Chloe were on their own. "Chloe, wait up!" Mel called out as he peered behind him. A few feet away, Buddy had collapsed in a heap, struggling to breathe. Worry chewing at his heart, Mel ran back to his fallen friend and ignored Chloe's shouts. "Don't worry, you're okay," Mel whispered as he tried to help his friend get on his feet. Sweetpea hovered around their heads while Max and Gidget ran over to help.
Just then, a dark shadow came over the small group as Chloe crashed down on top of them, thin scratches bleeding slowly from Danger's metal tail...
