Crawling through the air vents, Norman knew exactly where he was going. He hadn't gotten lost again. If anything, he had waited for his owner to fall asleep before he snuck out of the apartment. His nose being his main guide, the young guinea pig finally reached an opening in the air vents. Clambering out, he arrived at his destination.
Snow crunched underneath Norman's small paws as he made his way over to the dark shed in the corner. Entering, it seemed even darker to the guinea pig. Did I cause this? he wondered, I know I hang out with Lisa a lot but I still made time for Tiberius... wait, no I didn't. I never did. The only time was pretty much during meetings and such. Better make a wish, a Christmas wish, Norman told himself, remembering what was tomorrow. Clasping his paws together, as if in prayer, he whispered, "Please, whoever might be listening up there, I just want one thing for Christmas this year. I want my best friend Tiberius to return home safe and sound. But most importantly, I want him to be happy."
