In an alley across the street from the dog park, Matilda could see several dogs of different sizes, colors, and breeds. There was even a very large mutt. But the one that caught her eye the most was a young pug around the same age as her son Bernie, who was beside her at that very moment. "Reckon it's one of them?" he asked quietly.
All of the sudden, the pug sprang up and chased after a yellow butterfly with a bunch of other dogs. Smiling, Matilda turned to face Bernie and answered, "I'm pretty sure that's one of them right there..."
