"... and that's how I learned how to drive," Snowball finished up his story. Max, who was walking beside him, shook his head. The small dog looked like he was going to say something when he suddenly stopped in his tracks. Perplexed, the rabbit followed his gaze to discover a horrific scene in a nearby alley. Laying in a pool of his own blood was a scruffy mutt. His green eyes opened weakly and settled on Snowball. Horrified, the rabbit rushed over to the dog, Max close behind. "Don't talk Scrappy," Snowball ordered in a hushed voice.

However, the mutt shook his head slightly as he croaked, "I'm so sorry boss... I'm the one who started the fire. I spied... for the Death and Darkness. But... I never meant to hurt you or anyone else... so I turned on Danger and his gang. They're the ones... who did this to... me after I... killed their healer..." The dog's breath was becoming shallower by the second. Coughing up blood, Scrappy continued, "I... hope you can... forgive me... Snowball..." Leaning forward, Snowball whispered, "Of course I forgive you."

Sighing, Scrappy closed his eyes. A second later, he breathed his last.
