Chapter 2: Dormmates

SHAMIERE'S POV

Kasalukuyan akong nasa harap ng dormitoryong tutuluyan ko.

'Yan ang nakalagay sa pinto kung kaya't nakasisiguro akong ito na nga iyon. I'm about to knock on the door when it just suddenly opened.

Iniluwa nito ang isang matangkad at maputing babae. Maganda siya at hanggang balikat ang kulay itim niyang buhok, and by the looks of her mukha siyang maingay-

"Kyaaah!!!" napakalakas na tili niya.

Maingay nga.

"Ano ba 'yan Yvonne, ang ingay-ingay mo!" sigaw sa kaniya ng isa pang babae mula sa likuran niya. Buti naman at mukhang hindi maingay ang isang ito.

That's what I thought not until,

"Waaah!!!" mas malakas na sigaw nito. Ngayon dalawa na sila ang nagtitili sa harapan ko.

What's with these two girls? Are they crazy?

I just looked at them blankly.

A few seconds later, they stopped screaming and looked at me in disbelief. Good heavens!

"Ikaw na ba ang magiging dormmate namin?" asked the short brown haired girl. She's tiny, cute at maputi rin.

I just nodded and stared at them again.

"O-Okay, wow you're so beautiful. You're just like a walking living doll." the girl with a black hair said.

"Oh, by the way, I'm Yvonne Zuares. I am 19 years old and my power is this,"

After she introduced herself, she waved her hands and suddenly there's a mound of sand like dusts floating on both of her palms.

A sand manipulator.

"My turn!" sambit ng isa pa.

"Hi! I'm Bea Marie Gorxon also 19 years old, and my power is this,"

As she said those words she lift both of her hands and small stones from the pot of the flowers came rushing towards her direction.

So, she can manipulate stones.

Pinaglaruan niya lang ang mga ito sa mga palad niya hanggang sa mapagod siya't muling ibinalik sa paso ng bulaklak ang mga ito.

After a moment, they once again faced me.

"So, what about you? What's your name and your power?" Bea asked excitedly.

"Yes and how old are you?" dugtong pa ni Yvonne.

"Shamiere." I answered.

Nang tingnan ko sila ay parang nag-aabang pa sila nang sasabihin ko pero hindi na ako muling nagsalita pa.

"Ah, Shamiere what? I mean, what's your surname? And your age? Also, your power?" Yvonne asked me again.

I didn't bother to answer and just looked at them. Mukhang nagulat naman silang dalawa sa iniasta ko kung kaya't panandalian silang natahimik.

"It's okay if you don't want to tell us your surname, but can you tell us what's your power instead?" Bea asked after a minute.

I remained silent.

"Wait, don't tell me that you don't know your power?" gulat na tanong ni Bea at napatakip pa ng kaniyang isang kamay sa kaniyang bibig na wari ba'y lubos na nanghihinayang.

Hindi lang sumagot wala ng kapangyarihan?

Tumango na lamang ako para tigilan na nila ako sa kakatanong.
