Y/N POV

As I made my way through the woods, a series of questions remained in my mind. What were those strange Afflicted creatures? They were unlike anything I had encountered before. Even if they were as weak as the average zombie, they still piqued my interest. Why did mysterious soldiers abruptly ambush me only to bring me to this mysterious place. And lastly, what was with the strange bracelet I was wearing, I noticed that Gina woman had one as well however hers held an orange light.

The answer to my question came in the form of garbled static coming from my bracelet that drew my attention to it instantly. This was then followed by a woman's voice, a familiar one at that. I had trouble remembering where I knew it from however there was a certain tone that was unmistakable, nevertheless, I listened closely as she addressed me in a somewhat pompous tone.

"So, you managed to escape the prison unscathed I see. I expected nothing less from you Y/N Wesker, you were always the resourceful type." I wasn't in the mood for this crap so I snapped at her "Who the Hell are you?!"

This just earned a faint chuckle from the mysterious woman as she responded "Temper temper, but I suppose I should introduce myself. You may refer to me as the Overseer." This caused me to let out an agitated "Tch!" Noise before snapping "Cut the crap! Who are you really?! And why did you bring me here?!

Again, all I got in response was another laugh followed by a brief explanation "If you want answers then come and find me at the top of the Monument, the large tower in the heart of the island." I kept the bracelet close to my mouth as I responded "Very well, but this had BETTER be worth my while!"

This 'Overseer' then delivered one final and cryptic message to me. "Before you head to the monument, travel to the Wossek 'where life begins'. I look forward to our reunion Y/N." It was at this point where I recognized the voice from and the realization made me freeze.

ALEX! ALEX WESKER! MY SISTER! I was left frozen in shock at this, after all, I had believed her dead for decades now, even Spencer said that me and Albert were the only survivors of the Wesker children. This only brought up yet another question, why did she wait until AFTER Albert was dead to get in contact, and why choose something like this?!

I tried getting her attention again and yet she had severed the connection. Her instructions remained in the back of my mind. If I wanted the answers to my questions, then I would have to head to the top of this 'monument'. I had seen it briefly before, just before I entered the forest, a huge tower off in the distance.

However, there was another thing. She had ordered me to first travel to an area called the Wossek, or as she stated 'where life begins'. I knew how Alex could behave if things didn't go exactly how she wanted it to. She was like a spoilt child in that regard.

Needless to say, it was safe to assume that my best bet would be to find this Wossek BEFORE I headed off to the Monument to confront Alex in person. Besides, I knew Alex, I knew that she wouldn't send me somewhere unless there was something she wished for me to see first-hand.

Regardless of my own thoughts, it seemed I would need to play her little games, for now at least. As long as she provided me with answers and maybe even some compensation for dragging me into this situation unannounced. Though also knowing Alex, the latter was unlikely.

I decided to follow the orders given to me and headed deeper into the forest, hoping to come across this Wossek. Though as I did, I suddenly heard the sound of gunshots up ahead. In the darkness though, it was difficult to see who it was as all I could see was flashes as handgun and shotgun rounds were fired presumably at some of those Afflicted.

I began approaching the sounds and just as I got closer, the gunshots abruptly ceased and I got my first good look at the culprits for the noise. I saw three men standing in a clearing just ahead of me. There was a man in a blue shirt, a man with a white tank top and a man in a jacket.

The man's jacket read the word 'Terrasave' on the back of it. I thought back to what Gina told me in the prison. Why were Terrasave here? I noticed each of these men wore bracelets, the man in the blue shirt still had a green light like me, so did the man in the tank top, meanwhile the man with the Terrasave jacket had an amber light similar to Gina.

I would have to ask Alex of the meaning when I caught up with her. It seems these Terrasave members were just more pieces in whatever game she was playing.

I began approaching the men and instantly they all spun around and aimed guns at me, however before they could open fire, I showed them my bracelet and exclaimed "Wait! Hold your fire! I'm not an enemy!"

Little did I know, Alex wasn't the only familiar face I would encounter throughout this whole ordeal. And what an ordeal it would be, the events here would end up changing the course of my life forever...

Author's Note: And that's it for this chapter, I'm sorry if it was kind of underwhelming, the next one will be picking up directly from where this one left off, I hope you like that one as well. What way do you think this segment will change Y/N as a person? I do hope you liked this chapter and as always, thank you for reading.
