Leah's POV
T and I loved traveling together. We wanted to see places all around the world. Now, I saw some places when I was a child but T didn't. Her trips were mainly with me. We had already gone to Paris and now we wanted to go somewhere completely different. So we settled for Northern Ireland.
When we were looking for a place to go to, I stumbled across something called 'the giant causeway'. This beautiful rock formation was located in Northern Ireland. When I looked at major cities or tours to the causeway, I found Belfast. I pitched the idea to T and she agreed.
That summer, we went to Northern Ireland.
We had our plane late in the afternoon, around 5. The whole plane ride wouldn't take that long. But we'd need to make a stop in London. It was so tempting to stay there a few days to check that place out - as we hadn't been there - but we decided to make that a different trip.
So, here we were, in the first plane. We were waiting for the plane to depart. We were in a bit of a hurry because we only had 3 hours in between 2 planes. T kept telling me that that was enough time, even with the delays, but I get worried easily...
When we finally started departing, I was grasping the plane seat hard. I hated plane rides, I was always so scared they'd crash... I know, irrational fear but I couldn't help it.
T had taken the window seat because I really didn't want to look out the window. She'd often tell me how cute those tiny houses were but I wasn't going to look. I was scared of heights...
When we landed in London, I was rushing to get out. Because of the delay, we merely had an hour left...
We were walking around the airport, exploring the huge airport. Our tiny airport was nothing compared to this one...
We finally came across a restaurant I wanted to eat at. Unfortunately, due to the delay, there was no time... Instead, we bought a snack to have something in our stomachs, before going to the gate for the second plane ride.
The second plane ride took less than an hour. It was so odd. We climbed and then we descended again. The landing though was rough. My dinner was out of me again, in a puke bag...
We exited the airport and took a bus to the hotel. We both were surprised how many things were similar to our country. I guess all European countries have similar things...
We arrived at the town center. We stopped there to have a look around. "This looks great." I said.
"Yeah," T looked around more. "Not many tourists..."
I looked around too then and shrugged. "More fun for us."
T nodded before walking us to the hotel, which was only down the street from the town hall. We chose this hotel for this reason, so we'd find it easily.
We arrived at the hotel and checked in. Then we got the keys to our room and finally got some rest.
After we had unpacked a bit, T was watching tv while I was in bed. I felt bad, due to my disease... When I wasn't responding for a while, T came over to me. "Hey," She said before kneeling next to the bed, next to me. "Are you alright?"
I shook my head. "I hate this."
She looked apologetic at me. "How about I get us some food and we stay here for the rest of the evening?"
"It's not even that late yet though..."
"Doesn't matter," She got up. "I want you to feel good, we can explore tomorrow."
I looked down.
"I'll be right back."
I slowly nodded.
T indeed had hurried. She had gotten back in 20 minutes with several snacks, candies, and drinks.
We were on the bed, I was in her arms. She was caressing my back.
"I ruin everything."
"Don't say that."
"It's true though," I sighed deeply. "This stupid disease..."
"It's not your fault," She kissed my head gently. "We'll deal with it, however it's presented to us."
I sighed deeply again and closed my eyes. I just wanted to rest in her arms, I just wanted to feel warm and safe. I just wanted to feel normal...

The next day, we had made several ideas for our free day. We'd visit a shopping center, a botanic garden, the town center, and a Mexican snack bar. I was particularly looking forward to that last thing. I loved Mexican cuisine, unfortunately, I couldn't take it well...
As we were walking down the street, I noticed just how easy we were able to find our way. I guess everything being in English helped a lot. We didn't have to think about what was written or said. It came almost naturally. It was wonderful!
We visited the huge shopping center. We were even able to go all the way up to the top. You'd have a wonderful look-out over the city. The downside was that you'd have to do several stairs to get there... And I wasn't in shape at all... I'm glad we went though. Even though I was scared of heights, the scenery was just beautiful.
After that, we continued our way to the furthest thing we'd want to visit: the botanic garden. It was near a university. I wasn't really interested in plants and flowers but T appreciated them. She'd pay attention to the shapes and sizes, the colors and variations.
We walked around the garden for what felt like hours. T observed every plant, and its name, while I glanced over the field and was done with it.
"This plant is perfect for us," She suddenly said. She turned around and saw me sitting down on a bench. "Come here, baby!"
I sighed and got up. I walked to her and saw her pointing at a pink flower. I nodded and looked at her. "A rose."
She chuckled. "You're not even trying to look at the name."
I sighed and leaned down, reading the name: "I love you - Rose," I raised my eyebrows. "This flower is called 'I love you'?"
She smiled and nodded. "How cool is that?" She wrapped her arms around me from behind, she let out a deep sigh. "I love you, baby."
I smiled. "I love you too," I glanced at the time and groaned. "But I don't love spending so much time here," I got out of her embrace and looked at her. "When are we done here?"
She chuckled. "You can be such a child sometimes."
I gasped. "Me? A child?!" I gasped again.
"We'll finish this tour, then we'll get your Mexican food," She looked at me. "Deal?"
I sighed. "Fine," I looked around. "So where to now?"
She chuckled again, shaking her head. "Right this way."
