Leah's POV
It's odd how days flew by. It seemed like my work day had just started and it already ended. It flew by. I guess it means I love what I do...?
The result was that I had the feeling I would be home sooner. After school, I'd walk to T's school. Her car would be parked there. Sometimes she'd be already in it, waiting for me, alongside our boys. Sometimes she wouldn't be in there, and I'd know she was getting the boys.
I was enjoying the sun on my skin, I had a big smile on my face. I felt happy. I felt happy to be alive. To be with T. To be with my boys. I was thankful. It was always during these walks I'd realize how lucky I am.
As I arrived at T's car, I noticed she wasn't in there. Probably getting the boys, I thought. So I let out a breath and walked around the car. I was looking at the school I once attended. It had changed a lot. 2 more buildings were being built. The other buildings were renewed too. It was odd to see how fast it had changed.
"Leah?"
I looked to my right. "Heather."
She looked around a bit before walking to me. I had to admit, seeing her in her work attire... It brought me back. "Hi." She repeated.
I nodded. I could tell she wanted to say something, but she didn't seem to know how. "How's Eva doing?"
I could tell she was happy I asked. "She's doing well," She smiled more. "Better than I ever could."
I smiled a bit. "She's a strong woman."
She slowly nodded.
I nodded too before looking at the car, wondering where T was at.
"She's getting the boys?" Heather asked, clearly referring to T.
I simply nodded. "I'm waiting for them to return."
She nodded before chuckling. "What a world," She shook her head before looking away briefly. "Where's the time you two had to hide your relationship?"
I slowly nodded.
"When you two had to park out of view. When there were no kids. When you weren't married," She shook her head. "You guys came from so far," She slowly smiled. "It's incredible."
I nodded. "I'm happy about it."
"I bet," She nudged me. "Talia's a real catch."
I laughed humorlessly.
She looked away, her eyes widened a bit. When I followed her gaze, I could see T was finally coming with the boys. They were walking alongside her, that's probably why it was taking them so long today.
When I looked back at Heather, my smile dropped. What I saw on her face was fear. Fear to face T. Fear to face her best friend. "She just needs time."
Heather looked at me. I could tell she had heard this before, Eva probably already told her this. She didn't respond, she looked back at T. She gulped. "I have to go," She said, already walking away. "Nice seeing you again." She left before I could even reply.
I frowned a bit before I heard two boys yell out.
"Mama!"
I looked to my right and saw Jin and Emil both running to me. They were going as fast as they could, which wasn't that fast. I knelt and opened my arms for them, hugging them tightly when they were near me. "How are you two?" I asked and pulled back a bit to look at them.
Emil was a bit red, it was clear he had been running a lot. Jin was smiling at me. "I did dwawing!" He exclaimed.
I smiled too. "Really?"
He nodded before pointing to his backpack.
"Let's look at that beautiful drawing at home."
He nodded before looking at the car. I took him and Emil and put them in the car. Then I looked at T. I smiled at her before pulling her closer to me. "How was your day?"
She smiled a bit. "It was ok," She wrapped her arms around my neck, not minding the students that were watching us. "I missed you."
"I missed you too," I leaned in, pecking her lips. "Let's go home."
She nodded before we both entered the car.

"What a beautiful drawing, Jinnie!" I smiled at the drawing he gave me.
Jin was smiling like crazy, it was clear he was very proud of his work. "Fow mama."
I looked at him. "You made this for me?"
He nodded.
I smiled more and picked him up in an embrace. "Where do I hang this beautiful piece of art?" I asked and looked around with him.
He laughed a bit.
"Baby."
I turned around and saw T, she still looked rather upset. "Yes?"
She didn't say anything, instead she gave me a look.
I looked at Jin. "Let's look around for a nice spot later, ok?"
He looked from me to T, then back at me. I wondered if he understood what had just happened. But he didn't say anything, he simply nodded.
I put him back down and motioned him towards Emil's direction. Emil was playing in his play corner.
Once again, Jin looked from me to T, then back at me. I bet he understood what just happened. I bet he wanted to ask me about it. But he seemed to understand he couldn't, not now at least. He nodded and walked towards Emil.
I looked at him and my smile faded a bit. I felt sad for driving him away.
"Baby."
I turned around to look at T, she motioned me to follow her. I sighed and followed her up the stairs. Usually when we wanted to talk about serious things, we'd go upstairs, because the boys can't really climb the stairs yet.
T entered our room but waited for me to enter before shutting the door.
When I entered, I didn't sit down. I looked around before looking at her. I immediately noticed how irritated she seemed. "Yes?"
She looked at me, an irritated frown on her face.
"Baby, you wanted to talk," I sighed. "So what's up?"
Her frown increased. "I saw you were talking to Heather."
I slowly nodded.
"Why?"
I looked at her. "Because she talked to me," I shrugged. "I asked her how Eva was."
T noticeably got more angry. "Why would you do that?"
I raised my eyebrows. "Because I care," Now I started to frown. "Baby, I know it's difficult for you but remember that they are our friends."
She huffed and looked away.
"Eva has helped me more than I can thank her for," I looked down briefly. "And Heather has been your best friend since you were little," I walked to her and made her look at me. "Does that really not mean anything to you anymore?"
She looked at me. She looked me up and down for a bit, I could tell she was thinking about something.
I looked at her for a while, I knew she wanted to say something. She had something on her mind. And if I were to interrupt her now, she might not say it.
Then she looked me in the eyes. "We're going to get pregnant too."
I raised my eyebrows. I licked my lips. "T, you can't - "
"Not me," She looked me in the eyes. "You."
