Leah's POV
I looked to my right when I heard yet another sigh. I sighed too. "Baby," I said softly. "You need to get some rest."
I heard another big sigh.
"You knew this would happen soon enough," I tried. "It's time."
Another big sigh.
I sighed before sitting up to turn on the light on bedside table. I then turned back to look at T. I saw how she was laying on her back, her hands folded together on her belly. She was clearly restless. "Baby," I tried again. I scooted closer to her. "It's their time."
She finally looked at me. "They're so young."
I chuckled. "They're older than most kids when they start school."
She looked away again. "They're too young." She shook her head.
"Baby," I started. "They're just fine."
She looked at me again. "How can you say that? Aren't you worried?"
Even though she was getting angry and clearly making a big fuss over nothing, I couldn't help but smile. It warmed my heart to see how much she cared about our sons. "Of course, I am," I scooted closer. "It's why I believe this is the right thing to do, for them."
She looked away again, shaking her head.
"It's important for their development," I started. "Studies show that kids who enroll in kindergarten have better school results later on. Plus it'll be easier for them to learn letters and read."
She huffed. "Of course you'd say that," She looked at me then. "As an elementary school teacher, you have to support kindergarten."
I raised my eyebrows as her argument made no sense. "As a teacher, you should care about their educational growth too."
Her frown disappeared, she sighed again. "But why my boys?"
I smiled again. "Because it's time."
She looked away again.
"Try to get some rest," I leaned closer, planting a kiss on her cheek. "It'll be an emotional day, for all of us."
She sighed again, but nodded.
"Goodnight, baby."
"Night."

The next morning, I was in the bathroom. I had just showered and was combing my hair. I was humming as I was happy for today, I knew today was going to be special, for my sons.
"We have a problem." T said as she barged into the bathroom.
I put my comb down and turned around to face her. "What's the problem?"
She gulped. "The boys," She started. "They're sick."
I raised my eyebrows. "They're both sick?"
She nodded.
"Suddenly?"
She nodded again.
I frowned as I thought about that. "They were both fine yesterday."
She gulped. It was clear she was nervous about something. "I'll call mom to see if she can watch them today."
I kept looking at her, something was going on. And I had a slight suspicion what it might be... "I'll go check up on them." I said and made my way out of the bathroom. I walked into the hallway and towards their bedroom. But T stopped me.
"Baby," She started. "You shouldn't." She got in between me and the door.
I frowned. "Why not?"
"Because..." She trailed off. She looked around before setting her eyes back on me. "We both know you can get infected easily, I wouldn't want you to catch what they have."
I frowned more. "I'll risk it." I said as I tried passing her.
But she blocked the way in. "I wouldn't risk it," She said. "You have to go to work. We wouldn't want you to call in sick."
I sighed. "Baby," I reached for her hands and held them in mine. "What's going on?"
She gulped and looked down. "They're sick." She said softly.
I slowly nodded before pushing past her and entering the room. There is saw Emil and Jin both seated in bed, they were clearly confused as to what was going on. "What are you two doing?"
Emil looked at Jin before looking at me. "Tata said we wait."
"Ah, tata said to wait," I then turned around to look at T, and saw how she looked down in shame. I then looked back at Emil and Jin. "You two have to get ready for school."
"Yay," Emil exclaimed. "Pway!"
"School, Emil," I corrected him. "Let's get you two ready."

"Have a good day, boys," I said as I kissed them both. "We'll be here tonight to pick you two up." I smiled at them before looking at T.
She leaned down too to kiss them both. "I love you too."
"Love you!" They both exclaimed.
I smiled at them. "Have fun," I said before taking T by the arm and guiding her back out of the building. We walked back to the car, even though T's school was right next door. "They'll be fine."
T huffed.
I looked at her. "Why are you doubting them? Don't you believe in them?"
She looked at me. "They're special little boys."
"Yes, they are, so are the others according to their parents."
She shook her head before looking in front of her, at nothing in particular. "You're not going to convince me that you haven't thought about it," She shook her head again. "It'll be hard for them."
"They'll be fine."
"Do you really think Jin will be fine?" She asked before looking at me. "You know how he's like," She paused, gulping. "Do you?"
I thought about that question for a bit. It's true that I did think about Jin a lot. About how he'll adjust to the others, how he'll be treated, how he'll fit in... "He'll be fine."
"He's different, baby," She breathed out. "He doesn't talk or portray any kind of emotion," She looked back at me. "Mom called him a mute..."
I looked away. "She's obviously wrong."
"Of course, she is," She sighed. "But this will be so hard for him," She sighed again. "People will be so mean to him because he's different," She looked at me. "What if they start bullying him? You know what that's like."
"He'll be fine," I repeated. I then looked back at her. "He'll be fine because I know what it's like."
She looked me in the eyes for a while, as if searching for something in them. Eventually, she sighed and nodded. She opened the door of the car, ready to head out. But I stopped her.
"Thank you."
She looked at me for a bit.
"For being such a great and caring mom," I smiled a bit. "Our boys are so lucky to have you."
She smiled too. She looked down for a bit, a small blush appeared on her cheeks.
"I love you."
She looked back at me. "I love you too, baby." She leaned in and kissed my lips.
"I'll head back here after work to pick you and our boys up."
She nodded.
"I love you." I repeated.
"I love you too." She smiled even more before exiting the car.
