Leah's POV

"Weee!" The boys said when they arrived home. They rushed towards the living room, most likely their play area.

I smiled at them before dropping their tiny backpacks, and then mine onto the floor. I took my lunchbox and bottle of water out of mine and looked for the same in the boys' backpacks. I then went to the kitchen and put them all on the table.

I started humming as I prepared the three lunchboxes for the next day. I preferred doing the work the evening before, so I'd have no rush in the morning. Besides, sandwiches are fine when you keep them in the fridge.

I finished preparing and went to the living room. I was curious about what the boys were up to. As I got nearer, I could hear their play. I smiled.

I walked to the couch and looked at them. I could look at them for hours. I could listen to them for months. I could enjoy them for years. I will love them forever.

"Mama," Jin said as he saw me looking at them. He waved at me to get closer. "You pway too."

I smiled a bit. "It's ok, Jinnie, I'll watch," As I saw he didn't seem to like my response, I added: "I wouldn't want to make your play wrong."

"No, mama," Emil now said. "You pway too," He took my hand and pulled at me, pulling me to their play area. "Sit." He motioned to the play carpet on the floor.

I looked at it before taking a seat. I looked at their construction. They had built some kind of castle, or a tall building. "What are you two building?"

Emil got up, as he often did to talk. He was a social boy and wanted to get people to look at him when he would talk enthusiastically about his interests. "We made a castle for ouw toy caws. Look, that's the king," He pointed at a car, which was a special kind of yellow. Almost golden. "He wants to take evewthing!" He motioned to the whole play area.

"Why does he want that?" I looked at Jin, trying to get him to talk to me too.

"Because he bad king!" Emil exclaimed. "But this is a king too," He motioned to a silver car. "He wants to stop the bad king."

I looked at the two cars. How lovely... How they made this whole story about two toy cars. I smiled at it.

"This is not good, he is a bad king." Emil said as he shook his finger at me. "No smile."

I dropped my smile. I looked at Jin. "So how does it continue?"

He looked at me. He seemed rather nervous, clearly uncomfortable talking about his play. Instead, he looked at Emil.

"Many fightews!" Emil said as he started looking for toy cars.

I looked at Jin. "Why do you think someone would want so much land?"

He looked at me, and instantly I could see that little beam of curiosity in his eyes. He smiled a bit, I wondered if he liked it I asked. "Because powew is impowtant."

I slowly nodded. "Is it?" I looked at him.

He shook his head. "I don't think," He looked at Emil. "Wowld think that."

"The world, yes," I sighed. "Unfortunately," I took a moment before looking back at him. "So how do we fight a king like that?"

Jin looked at me. "He die."

I chuckled at his blunt response.

"Mama," Jin now started. "Why tata weiwd?"

Emil now too stopped looking for his toys. He came back to us and sat with us, it seemed he too had noticed a change. Unfortunately...
