Leah's POV

I was right: T did talk to Heather about 'thanksgiving'. Apparently, she wanted to know why they invited our family through me, and not her. I guess she really had no idea how her behavior affected everyone around her.

The Thanksgiving party was tonight, and I decided to go into town to find the hosts a gift. As I was walking through the streets, I bumped into a familiar face. "Cam?" I smiled. "Hi."

Cam looked at me and smiled, but I could tell she felt uneasy, almost as if I caught her doing something she didn't want me to know... "Hi."

I looked at her, hoping she'd carry the conversation with her Cam-attitude. But when she stayed silent, I frowned. "So, what are you up to?"

She shrugged. "Not much," She looked around. "Doing some shopping, for the family," She shrugged again. "For the holidays."

I nodded. "Have you found what you were looking for?"

She nodded but didn't look at me. It almost seemed as if she was trying her hardest not to look at me. I wonder why...

"And how have you been, Cam? How's your mom and dad?"

"We're all good," She nodded and looked at her phone. "I have to get going," She then finally looked at me. "See you around." And with that, she left.

I frowned as I saw her walk away. It almost seemed as if she was walking faster to get away from me faster... I'm sure I'm wrong about that.

I got home with the present I found. I put it on the kitchen table and smiled.

"What's that?" T asked as she entered the kitchen, she probably heard me coming home.

"It's the gift for Heather and Eva," I looked at her. "For tonight."

T looked at it for a while.

"Do you like it?"

She looked at me before shrugging, and walking away.

I sighed but decided to continue with the gift I had. I got it wrapped up and went to the tv. I saw the boys were playing with their toys. I smiled.

I took my phone, just to check if I had gotten any messages about tonight's party. I had none. I then thought back at seeing Cam. I decided to go to her online profile. I smiled when I saw the pictures she had made until I saw a new update appearing.

I looked at it before I gasped, it read: 'Presenting the world: my girlfriend'.

The front door opened when we had rung the doorbell. "Hey," Heather smiled at us. "Come on in."

We all entered. The boys immediately started running towards the sound of people, in the living room.

"It smells nice," I said to Heather who was hanging away our jackets. "Really nice."

She smiled. "I hope you'll like it."

"She's a vegetarian, I hope you thought about that." T suddenly, rudely, said.

Heather looked at T, it was clear she wasn't pleased with that remark. "Yes, I know," She looked back at me. "Eva looked after your meal."

I nodded. "Thanks."

She nodded before leading us to the living room. "Leah and Talia are here too," Heather said, introducing our arrival. "And, of course, Emil and Jin too." She said, smiling at the boys.

We all sat down in a circle, so we were all able to see each other.
While Heather was off, making sure the food was getting ready, Eva was with us, seated on a comfortable sofa on her own.
Mary and her husband sat next to Eva. Her husband was a bit quiet. He usually was when we all got together, I'm guessing he missed some guys...
Charlotte sat next to them. She was on her own, again. She didn't seem to mind, she enjoyed the company, and the boys.
I sat next to Charlotte, and T sat next to me. Unfortunately, that also meant T was seated directly next to Eva. Eva clearly didn't mind T at all, she was good at dealing with people. But I could see how T was shooting glares. It bothered me greatly.
