Leah's POV

"Will you just watch the kids?" I asked as I rushed down the stairs.

"Why me?" T asked as she followed me down the stairs as well. I wondered how the boys could sleep, as we were making quite some noise right about now...

I sighed and looked at her briefly before going to the front door. I took my shoes and put them on.

"I should go."

I got back up and looked at her. "You?" I huffed. "You haven't exactly shown much support lately, have you?"

She crossed her arms. "Heather is my best friend."

"I'll be their baby's godmother." I said, glaring a bit.

T returned the glare. "Only because I denied it."

I shook my head before taking my jacket. "Whether you like it or not," I put it on and looked at her. "They'll be wanting me there, not you."

"Says you!" She spat.

I sighed. "Who did they call?"

Her frown disappeared.

I nodded. "You stay here and I'm going." And with that, I left.

Talia's POV

I was so angry with Leah. How dare she suggest she's more wanted than me? I'm Heather's best friend, she'd want me there. Then again...

I sighed as I finally got out of bed. It was past 9, quite late for the boys. I don't know why I couldn't be bothered to get as involved as I used to be. It's not that I didn't love them, because I do. I love those boys more than anything in the world. It's just hard.

I didn't bother getting dressed and just stuck to my pajamas. I walked to the boys' bedroom and saw them already awake. They both had gotten out of their bed and were playing on the floor with their toys.

When I opened the door, they stopped playing and looked at me. They didn't greet me with smiles or words, they just looked at me. I guess I didn't deserve a greeting anymore...

"Time for breakfast." I simply said before going downstairs.

I arrived in the kitchen. As I was putting things on the table, I noticed two cups by the dishes. I sighed as I thought about what Leah had said about her drink at night with Emil.

As I turned around to face the table, I saw the boys. They were still just looking at me. Jin looked around too. "Where is mama?"

I sat down with them at the table, their eyes on me, waiting for a response. I sighed. "She's with auntie Heather and auntie Eva." I said and took a piece of bread. I took some chocolate paste and spread it on the bread, intending to eat.

"Why?" Emil asked.

I sighed. "Their baby is coming."

They looked at each other before looking at me. "Are we going too?" Emil asked, he was clearly excited.

"No." I simply said.

They looked at each other again before looking at me. "Why not?" Jin asked.

I sighed again, trying to keep my cool. "Because we are staying here."

"Why?" Emil tried.

"Because we are."

They glanced at each other before looking at me again. "Why?" They said simultaneously.

"Because I don't want to go!" I spat and got up. Without waiting for a response, I left them and went back to my bed.
