Leah's POV

I had stayed over at Kara's house the entire afternoon. We had been playing board games and having conversations about anything really. It was a nice way to keep up with what's going on in each other's lives.

At around 6, we decided it was time to go home. Sally went home by bike, while I walked home. Cam decided to join me.

"You know," I looked at Cam. "I can go home on my own."

"I know," She shrugged. "I guess I just wanted to spend more time with you," She looked at me. "My best friend."

I looked at her. "We spent the entire afternoon together though."

"Wrong," She immediately said. "We spent the entire afternoon with all our friends," She said, making me nod. "I sometimes miss the time we used to spend on our own."

I looked back in front of me, looking at the ground I was walking on. Cam rarely spoke about her feelings like this. I knew that when she did, it was a sign.

We arrived at my house. I looked at it before looking at Cam. I noticed she was still looking upset. "Do you want to come in for a bit?"

She looked at me. "Really?" She asked and added: "Will it be ok for Talia?"

"Sure," I smiled at her. "You're always welcome, Cam."

She smiled too. "Ok."

I walked to the front door and opened it. "Baby," I said, letting Cam enter in the process. "I'm home."

"We're in the living room." I heard her reply.

Cam looked towards the living room, then at me. "I think there are visitors."

"Oh," I nodded. "T invited her friends over, they probably are still here," I looked at Cam and noticed she felt a bit uncomfortable. "We can go upstairs if you prefer that."

She looked at me and smiled. "Yeah."

I nodded. "I'll go say hi, ok?"

She nodded.

I walked to the living room and saw T and her friends. They were all still here, which I hadn't expected. "Hey everyone," I said to them, then I went to T. I leaned down to kiss her. "Hey, baby."

T smiled after the kiss. "How was your day?" She asked and already pulled me down on her lap. It's something she always did, especially when others were with us. I always thought how sexy that was because, to me, it meant she wanted to show them I was hers.

"It was great," I smiled. "Uhm, Cam's here."

T looked from me to the front door, which she couldn't see. Then she looked at me, she seemed to understand. "Shall I ask them to leave?" She whispered, referring to her friends.

"No, it's alright," I pecked her lips. "Enjoy your time here, I'll go upstairs with Cam." I wanted to get up but she pulled me back down.

"Upstairs? With Cam?"

I couldn't help but smile, she was jealous. "We're just friends, baby," I got up again. "Enjoy." I then left the living room.

I walked to Cam. "Shall we?" I asked and headed upstairs.

When we reached upstairs, Cam started walking around. "It's so odd," She said while looking around. "I've never been upstairs," She then looked at me. "Isn't that weird?"

I shrugged. "I haven't been upstairs in Sally or Kara's houses either."

"But that's their parents' houses," Cam looked around again. "This is your house."

"I guess so..."

She walked through the hallway and looked inside every room. I'd almost feel like she's snooping around but I knew she was just interested in my house.

She opened the door to our bedroom, which was the first room to the left. "Nice room." She simply stated before moving on.

I chuckled and followed her.

She opened the door to the bathroom, which was right next to our room. She nodded before continuing to the next room. She opened the door to an almost empty room. She raised her eyebrows. "What's this room?" She then looked at me."

I looked at the room and sighed. "This... Uhm..." I looked down for a brief moment before looking at Cam. "This is the room we saved for one of our future kids."

Cam seemed surprised to hear this. She looked at the room again. "It's a nice room."

I nodded slowly.

She walked further, she clearly didn't want to ask me further, which I appreciated. She opened the door to another almost empty room. She looked at me. "Another room for future kids?"

I nodded again.

Cam nodded and closed the door. She looked back at me, as she had reached the end of the hallway. "I didn't know you two had planned this much for the kids..." She paused. "When you told me you weren't ready for a kid, I thought nothing was planned..."

"Nothing was planned," I said, gaining Cam's attention. "After we lost the child, T needed a purpose. It was clear she longed to have a child. But she clearly wants to do it with me this time around."

Cam nodded.

"She agreed to wait a bit so I can focus on college. So to keep herself busy, she prepared these rooms," I looked at the closed doors of the rooms, reserved for our future kids. "It makes it all seem real though."

"Understandable..."

I nodded.

"Leah!" I heard T shout from downstairs. "They're gone, you two can come down!"

I shook my head and started laughing a bit.

Cam looked at me. "What's so funny about that?"

I looked at Cam. "She clearly pushed them to leave," I shook my head again. "She's so jealous..."

Cam chuckled.

"Let's go downstairs before she comes upstairs."

Cam chuckled again.

We walked downstairs. I looked around. "They left fast," I said as I saw T seated in the living room. "I told you to enjoy, baby."

T opened her arms, clearly asking me to get in them.

I sighed and sat down next to her. She immediately wrapped her arm around me. "Have a seat, Cam."

Cam smiled at me. "Thanks," She sat down in front of us. "Hey, Talia."

T smiled at Cam. "How are you doing, Cam?" I often found it funny how T used Cam's nickname but Cam didn't use T's nickname. Then again, no one seemed to dare to use my nickname for T... I was the only one to call her T. It made me even more special.

"I'm doing well," She nodded. "I was just telling Leah how it's good you two have planned ahead for kids," She gulped. "With the room." I also noticed that Cam often seemed nervous to talk to T. I always blamed it on the fact that T used to be her teacher, then again, we were familiar right here.

"Yeah," T smiled. "We didn't have a plan before, now we do," She then looked at me. "As soon as Leah feels ready for it, we have things planned."

I smiled at T. "Yeah," I then looked at Cam. "Do you want something to drink?"

"No," She got up. "I think I should get going..."

I was a bit surprised to hear that. "I thought you wanted to spend some time together?"

"Yeah, but it's late," She smiled at Talia. "It was nice seeing you again, Talia."

T nodded at her.

Cam then walked to the front door. I followed after her. "Shall I drive you home?"

"No," She put on her jacket. "I'll be fine," She then took her bag. "Bye, Leah." And then she left. I frowned as I watched her leave. I could tell something wasn't right. I guess I'll have to ask her another time...
