Talia's POV
I was parked at the train station, I was waiting for Leah. Every time someone would come out of the train station, I'd look up. But unfortunately, it was never her.
I took my phone, checking the time. She should be here. Where is she? Should I call her? Or maybe I should text her? Or should I just wait? But how long do I wait?
Then I saw a train enter the station, and I got my hopes up again. I was certain that Leah would be on that train. It's her train, I'm sure of it.
I waited and saw many people exit the train station. I was checking each person that was leaving the station, and then I saw her.
I smiled before I pressed my car horn, gaining most people's attention, and hers too. She seemed visibly confused but walked to my car nonetheless.
I opened the door for her, and she got in. "What are you doing here?" She asked as she sat down. "How did you know I would be here, at this time?"
"Charlotte told me," I said, gaining a nod from her. "I thought it would be nice to pick you up."
She showed me a small smile. "Thanks," She then looked outside the window, it seemed she had a hard time looking at me. "Will you drive me home then?"
"Do you want to come home then?" I smiled at her.
She looked at me. "No," She gulped. "I meant my mom's place, I'm sorry."
"Oh..." I looked down. "Right..." I paused. "I'm stupid..."
"You're not stupid, T," She sighed. "I just need a bit more time, that's all."
I started the car and drove us towards her mom's place, which wouldn't be that long of a drive. I had to hurry to get a conversation going. "When will you be ready?" I glanced at her. "I really miss you."
A smile found its way on her face, and I was glad I was able to do that at least. "I miss you too," She sighed. "It's just a lot that has happened, you know?"
I nodded.
We arrived at her mom's place, I parked the car. "It was nice to see you again." I showed her a small smile.
"Yeah," She took her backpack from the back seat and opened the car door. But then, she closed the door again. She looked at me. "Do you want to come in for a bit?"
I couldn't contain my smile. "Yeah," I smiled more. "I'd love that."
"Ok," She then got out of the car. We walked to the house. She opened the front door and dropped her backpack by the door. "Come in." She said as she undid her shoes and jacket.
I followed her example before following her into the kitchen. "So," I looked around. "Where is your mom?"
She took something to drink. "She's not home yet," She then handed me a drink too. "Why?"
I shrugged. "I was just wondering."
She nodded before walking to the living room. She went to sit down on the couch there. I walked to her and sat down next to her. I sat on the spot I'd always sit at, at the side of the couch. When Leah was my student, we sometimes went to her house during lunch breaks. We'd watch tv, she'd lay in my arms. Wonderful times...
I looked at her. "How was your day?"
She shrugged but didn't really respond.
I looked away a bit, the tv came into view. "Shall we watch something together?"
She looked at me and slowly smiled. "Sounds great."

Leah's POV
"Leah, I'm home," Mom entered the living room, startling T and me. "Talia," Mom gulped, clearly feeling uncomfortable that she walked in on us. "I didn't expect to see you here. How are you?"
T and I sat up, both clearing our throats. "I'm doing well," T got up to kiss my mom's cheek, as a way of greeting her. "How are you?"
Mom nodded before looking at me, I could tell she would have many questions for me later on. She then looked at T again. "Are you staying over for dinner?"
"Uhm..." T looked at me, she clearly wasn't sure what to reply. Somehow, it meant a lot to me that she didn't want to push me too much.
I showed her a small smile. "It'll be fun."
She smiled too then before looking at mom. "I'd love to."
"Ok," She walked backward a bit. "I'll be in the kitchen then, preparing dinner..." She hurried and disappeared into the kitchen.
T and I chuckled a bit. "That got awkward..." I said before looking at T.
She nodded. "It's been a while that your mom walked in on us."
I leaned backward on the couch. "Yeah..."
"Too bad though," T said, gaining my attention. "She ended a very great moment."
I looked away a bit, blushing in the process.
"I made a lot of mistakes in the past," She said, making me look down. Remembering how T did to me, how we did to one another... It wasn't good. It wasn't a memory I wanted to keep. "I didn't communicate properly to you and I'm sorry for that," She scooted closer to me, wrapping her arms around me. "I'm going to do my best to avoid a similar situation from happening again," She said, gaining my attention. "I swear."
I nodded slowly. "I should've communicated better too, I pushed you away, I - "
"You are perfect," She said, shutting me up. "You did everything for us, I just didn't want to bother you and did stupid things, I'm sorry."
I slowly smiled. It felt good to have a proper conversation with her again. "I'm sorry too."
She chuckled. "Stop apologizing, I was to blame."
I scooted closer to her. "I'll forgive you, if you forgive me. That's the condition."
She smiled at me. Finally, I could see the love in her eyes again, the love I missed. I knew we were going to be alright now, I could see it. "I forgive you, baby."
My heart jumped when I finally heard her calling me 'baby' again. "I forgive you too, baby."
