Leah's POV

I woke up the next day, earlier than I expected. I stretched a bit until I felt arms wrap around me from behind. I smiled.

"Good morning, baby," T scooted even closer, kissing my shoulder in the process. "I love you."

I smiled even more. "I love you too," I turned around, facing T. "I'm happy about last night," I gulped. "I needed that."

"Me too," She pulled me closer to her. "You're all I need, you're the one for me. I'm sorry I was so stupid before."

"Let's please not talk about that anymore," I caressed her face. "It's behind us, it's the past, ok?"

Even though she wanted to express how sorry she was, she nodded. Perhaps she realized I clearly didn't want to think about the past period anymore. "So, what shall we do now?"

I shrugged.

"Do you have to go home soon?" She asked before shaking her head. "I mean, do you have to go to your mom's house soon?"

I smiled, happy she corrected herself. "Not really," I scooted closer. "Unless you want me to leave..."

She smirked.

My smile disappeared as I knew that meant she had something on her mind, something mischievous. "T," I already pulled back. "No, don't you dare..."

She quickly got on top of me. "Come here, baby." She then started tickling me but also kissing me places.

"No, T," I laughed while trying to fight her off. "Stop!"

"So you two are good again?" Cam asked as we were walking through the town center.

I nodded. "Yeah," I let out a happy breath. "Finally."

Cam nodded.

I looked at her. "How are you doing?"

She looked at me. "I'm fine," She shrugged before putting her hands in the pockets of her jacket. "I was upset because of the pain she caused you though."

I showed her a small smile. "You're the best," I gave her a side hug. "Here," We stopped at a candy store. "Let's get you something, my treat."

Cam looked at me. "Anything I want?"

"Anything." I reassured her. I regretted saying that the moment we had entered that store. Cam wanted everything, she loved candy. I kept telling her I'd get her something, one thing. Nevertheless, Cam took a lot of things. I used the opportunity to get some candy for T as well, as I knew she liked these candies too.

"Hey Leah," Cam said as we continued our walk through the town center. "Guess what I'm holding?"

I looked at her. "Candy?"

"Wrong," She pulled the bag up and caressed it as if it was her baby. "This is my treasure," She looked around, as if someone was about to steal it. "We should make haste and bring this to safety." She then started running away.

I sighed deeply, rolling my eyes in the process, before running after her.

Talia's POV

While Leah was out, I stayed at home. I used this time to finish some school work. Now that Leah and I were good again, I wanted to use every free moment to spend it with her. I love her so much, I can't believe we were in such a bad place before...

I was going through many tests, it was going well. Until my phone went off. I looked at the caller-ID. "Hey, mom."

"Hey honey," She seemed happy to hear me, as she always was. "How are you? How are you and Leah?"

I smiled instantly. I was pleased to spread the good news. "We're good," I looked away, at nothing in particular. "We made up, we're good again, mom."

"That's really good to hear," She let out a breath. "We know you two love each other a lot, we know you two are perfect together," She sighed. "She's a really good partner for you, you know?"

I nodded but said nothing out loud.

"She was there for you when you hit your lowest point," She said, making me nod. "I have to admit, sometimes I did wonder if she wasn't too young..." She paused. "But she really proved herself by helping you get through this dark tunnel."

I nodded, gulping in the process. Thinking about 'the dark tunnel' would always make me emotional, it touched me to my core. "She's my light," I gulped again. "I don't know what I would do without her."

"I hope you made that clear to her."

"I did," I looked down then, to my hand. I looked at my wedding ring. A thought I had pushed away earlier on, came back. "I've been thinking about our relationship a lot lately..."

"Oh?"

I gulped. "Mom, what's the next step in life?"

She didn't immediately answer which suggested she wasn't really understanding my question.

"I mean, I have a job, I have a house, we got married..." I gulped. "What's next?"

She let out a breath. "Do you mean what I think you mean?"

I looked away again.

"Talia," Mom said. If mom called me by my name like that, she meant business. "Are you talking about what I think you are? Does Leah know?"

I sighed. "I haven't really spoken about it with her," I looked down again. "She has mentioned it before but I'm not sure she was serious about it..."

"This is a very serious thing, Talia," She paused. "You have to discuss this with Leah."

I sighed. "I was thinking about surprising her with this..."

"What?"

I looked away again.

"You can't do this alone, you need her for this journey."

Before I could reply, I heard a bit of noise on the other end of the phone and then my dad's voice: "Talia, what's going on here? I hear your mother shout, is everything alright?"

I gulped before finally saying the words out loud: "I want to have a child with Leah."
