Bakugo X Reader *Assigned To Each Other*

Hello lovely's, I have a few SACS coming up which is a bit stressful... but good news! I got back my result for my English presentation and I got a 92% I'm so happy with that mark. and my teacher and the head of English asked me if I could record my speech so they can use it as an example for next years, year 12s... I was os shocked and they only asked me... like what?! I'm so proud of myself, nothing like this has ever happened to me. anyways...

BACKGROUND INFO: universe that uses classifications, you can either be a little, caregiver or none... you find out these classifications on your first day of your last year of high school, today is that day. also later on principle nezu will call people into his office to inform them on who their little/ caregiver is.

y/n's pov:

after finding out I was classified as a little... I wasn't shocked but I also wasn't expecting that. I didn't know how to feel, I mean it's not a bad thing... it just felt odd. odd that I would actually have to allow someone to look after me for once... that I wouldn't have to rely on only myself for once. I was kinda scared to trust someone with that responsibility.

I hear my name over the loud speaker pretty much immediately {oh I must be the first little to be getting assigned a caregiver...} I think to myself as I get up to leave, class 3B all giving me reassuring looks... except for Monoma going on about how my caregiver better not be from class 3A, I leave before I can hear the rest of his rant.

as I stand in front of principal nezu's office I feel like my heart is going to explode, this was so nerve racking. before I can go to open the door the door opens slightly, mr nezu's face poking out through the crack "ah! y/n. glad you made it just in time, come in" he says sweetly, opening it more for me to go in.

I walk inside to see Katsuki bakugo from class 3A already sitting in there. {was he my caregiver...? no way! bakugo a caregiver... he's usually so... cold?} I think to myself. I sit down in the chair next to bakugo, both of us facing where mr nezu sits. "so bakugo and y/n... I've paired you two up together, because I believe you two can help each other... are you both thinking, how is the other person a caregiver or little?" he asks, we both look at each other and nod our heads.

he chuckles, "I thought that might be the case. are you both also struggling to accept your classification a bit?" he asks, me and bakugo again nod our heads. he smiles "then my theory was correct. I believe you two can help each other in making the other accept their classification and can grow together to be open to who you truly are... instead of what you believe you should be" he said.

he takes a sip of tea, before talking again "alright, now you two will have the rest of the day off to spend with each other to get to know each other... now off you go" he says, practically shooing us out, then closing the door behind us.

me and bakugo stand in silence for a few seconds before he lets out a sigh "god that mouse can talk" he groans. I let out a giggle at his statement, nodding my head in agreement with him. he hums and runs a hand through his hair "so uh... you're my little... and I'm your caregiver" he says, almost sounding unsure of himself.

"yeah... you're my caregiver and I'm your little... how do you feel about that?" I ask softly. his red eyes meet mine, looking me over and thinking about his answer "good. I feel good about it... from what I've seen of you, you're a pretty relaxed person... and I doubt you'd be a brat in little space... I hate brats" he says with a groan. I chuckle "well... I don't believe I'm a brat... so lucky you" I say with a playful nudge to the shoulder.

he lets out a huff and leans down so his face is level with mine "don't do that sweetie... I may be your caregiver... but I never let anyone one up me... that includes my little... so unless you want me to nudge you back harder... don't do that again... okay?' he says. I nod my head, a bit shocked he took that so seriously {he's definitely going to be a strict caregiver} I think to myself.

he shakes his head "words. I wanna hear you agree to this, say yes bakugo" he says softly but sternly "yes bakugo" I say shyly, I wasn't used to having anyone act like this to me especially not someone like bakugo. he smiles "good. now lets go back to the dorms, are you okay to go back to my dorm? we can talk privately there" he says calmly.

I nod my head "yeah that's fine" I say. he nods, he then holds his hand out to me, I just stare at it... a bit confused did he want me to.. "hold my hand while we walk" he stated, interrupting my thought "oh okay.." I say and interlock my fingers with his, his grip is tight but gentle at the same time as he leads me to the 3A dorm building.

bakugos pov:

once we arrive back at my dorm I unlock my door and gesture for y/n to go in before me. they do and look around my room. they look at my band posters scattering the room, some hero merch, mainly all might displayed around the room also. "hmm... your room is very... edgy?" they say softly with curiosity in their eyes, still taking in the new environment. I scoff sarcastically "sorry sweetheart, were you expecting a pretty little room with lots of stuffies..? I am an edgy person... so you'll have to get used to it in here." I say with a chuckle.

they whine "I didn't mean it like that" they say with a huff. I chuckle and ruffle their hair "I know, I was teasing" I say cheekily. I then sit down on my bed and pat the spot next to me, they come over and sit next to me, I notice they look tired "are you sleepy?" I ask them, they nod their head and yawn "it's only 10 in the morning... how are you tired?" I ask them. "I didn't get a good sleep last night" they answer.

I frown at that "while I think it's nap time little one.. whether you're in little space or not we all need our sleep.." I say softly. they look like they want to argue but I shoot them a little glare and they give in, nodding their head. I get up and go to my clothes draw "you need something to sleep in... sine you can't wear the uniform, here you can have my shirt and some shorts" I say, handing it too them.

time skip after getting changed.

once they were done changing I lead them back to my bed, letting them under the covers to snuggle up. I sit on a chair next to my bed and kiss their forehead "have a nice nap y/n... I'll be here for when you wake up. okay?" I ask, "okay bakugo.." they say sleepily, closing their eyes to drift off to sleep.
