Three weeks. Castiel stared down at his school agenda, the very day this all started was marked with a red sharpie heart. Four weeks ago was the first time he spoke to Dean Winchester. They had been partnered up for a History assignment. Their first study date had ended with them liplocked. Which came to an utter surprise, as Dean had slept with his fair share of girls in this school. The second time they went out, the day ended with them naked in bed. And as the third rolled around, Dean had spoken the words that sent Castiel's entire being into shock, but not a pleasant shock.

"That was awesome." Dean grinned as he playfully brushed his fingers through Cas' hair and buried his face against his neck.

Cas was still catching his breath, that was his first time having sex and his mind was still trying to catch up. "Yeah."

"How about we make this a thing?"

Cas was about to smile so widely he was in fear of ripping his cheeks, but then Dean said the words that would make the world seem dark and cruel.

"Fuck buddies. Just me and you, no one has to know." Dean kissed a strip up Cas' neck like he was trying to manipulate him, and maybe he was because Castiel nodded despite the hurt in his heart.

And that's how it went for three weeks. Casually fucking almost every night, Dean couldn't seem to help himself and Cas couldn't say he put up a fight. They couldn't be seen in public, Cas was openly gay and Dean didn't want anyone to catch on. Cas knew that Dean wasn't completely gay, he must be bi or something, but it still hurt that Dean shoved him in the closet. Castiel had spent years coming to terms with his interest in boys, and it hurt so deeply to be hidden away like this. Tucked in a corner for Dean whenever he came calling. Cas wished he had the courage to speak up but he was too afraid of losing this intimacy with Dean... however wrong it made him feel.

Staring at the agenda and losing track of time, Cas' phone suddenly buzzed with a message. He hoped it wasn't Dean, because football practice should have ended a few minutes ago and Dean was probably going to beg to hook up.

Cas, where r u? Meet up? Was all Dean had typed.

Cas groaned and ran his hands through his hair. God, he wished he had the strength to stop this. It was already painful enough because he had fallen for this guy... a guy who would never love him back. It shouldn't be this hard.

Sighing deeply, Cas typed back. I am busy, Dean.

Not a moment passed before another message came through. L Cas, baby, pleeeeeaaaaassseee. Need you

"God dammit." Cas muttered in defeat. He hated when Dean called him baby and said he needed him, it made this all seem like it was so much more than it was. It toyed with Cas' emotions. I can't.

Fine. Was the only word Dean responded and Cas could feel the distaste behind that one word.

Why don't u just go and find Lisa or something? Cas gritted his teeth as he typed the message. You can have anyone in this school.

Seconds turned into eternity as Cas stared at his phone with an anxious heart.

Where r u?

Cas rolled his eyes. At the library.

I will be there in five minutes. Dean's message stayed lit as all of Cas' hopes fell. He couldn't see Dean in person, when those green eyes met his he lost all of his resolve. If Dean came here, he would surely give in and be used more. He started to hate Dean for the way he could make Cas bend so easily to his will.
