Prompt from : The song is "Return the Favor" by All Time Low. It'd be cool if you could put it where Castiel is talking to Dean.

'

Oh no,
Look what you've done
That's me
The victim of a hit and run
Picked up and let down
You were never as you led on.

PRESENT TIME

Castiel stared down at the crinkled paper lying across his palm. Ink was scribbled across it halfheartedly, as though done in haste with no emotion. The words were screaming volumes at him until he was wincing away and letting the paper slip from his palm. All those months ago, Cas had thought he could do this. He thought that he could be with Dean and never yearn for more. How wrong he had been... and now how lost he was... and Dean was back with her.

You said just friends and no strings
But that leaves loose ends for old flings
Get back to old days and old flames
You never let burn out
Won't you let me know?

"Just friends and no strings." Dean's cocky smile bled through his face as he swept his fingers through his hair.

Castiel stared down at the school books pressed against his chest. The proposition made him think hard about what his life was at this moment and what it would be if he said yes to Dean Winchester. In his twenty years on this planet he hadn't really connected with anyone enough to date. Sure he had tried and even had a few flings when he first got to college, but nothing ever lasted.

As his eyes rose to meet curious green, he let out a sigh he hadn't known he was holding. "Okay."

"Awesome." Dean grinned from ear to ear as he grabbed a pen from his back pocket and scribbled something on a paper that he tore out of one of the notebooks under his own arm.

When Dean handed the paper out to Cas, he sent him a wink and then turned on his heel to head back to his dorm. Castiel watched until the leather jacket disappeared before his eyes settled on the paper in his hands. It had a phone number and then underneath it read: Calm me tonight, sweetheart.

Castiel walked back to his own dorm in silence, the paper grasped tightly in his palm creating a warm hope to settle deep in his bones.

How do I get away?
When you're begging me to stay
What do you need me to say?
You're anything but ordinary.

"You should smile more, sweetheart." Dean remarked offhand as the two of them were tangled between Cas' sheets. "It's a beautiful smile."

Cas' heart fluttered. Since this affair had begun Castiel started each day praying that one day Dean would come to him and say that they were now more than friends, that there were strings. As he traced the pad of his fingers across Dean's glistening ribcage, he wondered if the day was finally here.

"You make me smile." Cas allowed his lips to turn up just slightly as he met Dean's eyes.

"You're such a goof." Dean shrugged off the sentiment before he leaned forward and kissed Cas' smile. "Such a hot goof."

"And you're extraordinary." The darker haired man wrapped his arm around Dean's shoulders to pull their chests flush.

Dean didn't say anything, just pressed his lips to Cas' again and made them both forget their conversation as they fell back into the passions of lust.

What do you want me to do?
I've given it all to you
I wish you would
Return the favor.
