Their eyes met across the room. Despite the dim lighting, they could still recognise each other. y/n melted at the sight of Shawn.

After all this time, they finally got to reunite. y/n's eyes watered as she sprinted towards her lover. A wide smile graced Shawn's soft lips as he held his arms out for her to run into.

She landed in his arms and he quickly engulfed her small frame. He held on to her as tightly as possible, never wanting to let her go.

Their families cheered around them which only caused the couple's smiles to grow. Shawn delicately placed y/n on the ground before pecking her lightly on the lips.

They locked eyes, simply taking in the mesmerising view of each other.

It had been five months since the couple had been able to hold one another. Five months since they last kissed. Five months since they last fell asleep in the same bed together.

After five months, they were finally reunited. And neither could be happier.
