Katie's eyes widened in shock. She always knew something was off about our relationship. But by the look on her face, she never suspected it was fake.

"So you weren't in love?" She asked.

I shook my head no.

That was partially true. He wasn't in love with me. I, on the other hand, was in love with him. Was. Until I realised how much of a self-centred dick Shawn Mendes is.

He never cared about anyone but himself. All he wanted was money and fame. As you can probably tell by the fact he wanted a fake girlfriend for extra publicity.

I don't even know how I got involved with him in the first place. That whole night is just a blurred memory.

All I know is that I shouldn't have signed that contract. I shouldn't have fallen for Shawn. And I definitely shouldn't have risked everything for that 'relationship'.
