You were sitting at the kitchen table in a oversized shirt and with your socks. You were a good student and a little shy towards new people and just today, a new person would arrive. From Asgard. Thor had informed you and the Avengers that his brother, Loki, would stay in the Tower as well, to adjust to the mortal world now that Asgard was destroyed. You were stuck with your nose in your mathematics book when Thor and a tall raven haired man walked into the kitchen where you were in. Your eyes immediately searched for the blonde haired God. You smiled up at Thor and he waved while a toothy grin decorated his face.
'Y/N!' Thor squeaked. You rose from your seat and went to give a hug to the God. He squeezed you tightly.
'Thor!' you shrieked. 'Oh, Thor! You are crushing me...' He quickly let go and smiled. You returned the gesture and then looked at the other God.
'Y/N, let me introduce you. This is Loki, my brother. Loki, this is Y/N. Careful, she's shy around strangers,' Thor said to the both of you. You nodded and extended your hand, for him to shake. He smirked.
'Well, don't you just look ravishing, darling? Especially in that shirt,' Loki spoke in a velvety voice. Your breath hitched in your throat and he brought your hand to his lips to kiss your knuckles. Thor glared at his brother.
'Brother!' Thor gasped. 'I just finished telling you that she is shy around strangers!' Thor placed a hand on his heart. Loki chuckled, still holding your hand.
'Forgive me, Y/N, Thor. But she shoudn't be shy. Not at all. I meant what I said, dearest Y/N. And I'm sure I am not going to be a stranger for long. I reckon that we will become very close.' Thor nudged his brother's arm. Loki finally let go off your hand and you quickly pulled back to pull your shirt a little lower down to cover you legs more, but it woudn't cooperate. Loki winked at you and you blushed.
'I-I need to go, Thor. Uh, L-Loki... nice to meet you,' you stuttered.
'It was a pleasure to meet you, Y/N,' Loki spoke with his silky voice. You nodded, walked to the table to grab your book and walked away, completely forgetting about your breakfast. 'She likes books,' Loki said to his brother when you had left. Thor knitted his eyebrows together and looked at his brother with an unbelieving expression on his face. 'What a bonus,' he chuckled.
'Loki, I beg you. Behave,' Thor threatened. Loki scoffed.
'Define behave.' Thor growled as Loki walked away.
'Where are you going?' Thor yelled after his brother. Loki turned around.
'My room,' he responded.
'You don't even know where it is yet,' Thor reasoned.
'There are name tags ons the doors, you oaf,' Loki huffed before he walked off.
The next day, you walked into the living room and saw Loki reading on the couch. Your eyes widened and you wanted to turn away, but realized you had to face him one day, so why not now? You went to sit next to him on the couch and he instantly put his book down with a smirk.
'Hey,' you spoke in a shy voice. He chuckled darkly.
'Hello.' His voice made a shiver run down your spine. You found him slightly intimidating. You tried to smile and then looked at he book in your lap before you started to read it. You tried to ignore the way Loki was staring at you and concentrate on your book.
After awhile, you stopped pretending like it didn't bother you. You tilted your head so you could see the God grinnin at you.
'What's wrong?' you squeaked.
'Nothing, darling. I was just admiring you. I hope you don't mind,' he answered. A blush crept on your cheeks and you looked away.
'It's rather uncomfortable,' you muttered. He then leaned in, his breath could be felt against the side of your face.
