Loki had gone one a mission for a whole week. His battle armor was torn apart, and even a few parts were burned. He was extremely tired and hungry. He was also super angry at Stark, who made him go on that mission in the first place. How dare he command a God? Loki was no man to be bossed around!

Pissed, he strolled into the kitchen. He couldn't believe his eyes! The kitchen was a mess! And guess who was most likely to clean it in the morning? Pans and vegetables were laying on the counter, a glass of beer was spilled on the ground and the fridge stood open. Oh, and there were eggs splashed around the sink, the shelves in next to the trash can. He growled and then you appeared around the corner, your hair messy - Loki even swore he spotted a bit of flour in it.

He was furious. He cleaned the kitchen just before he left on that mission, and this was how he got it back!

'What the actual f-!'

'Hello!' you said excitedly. You waved as you threw your apron on the chair. 'You're back early, I'm not really finished yet, but-'

'What happened here?' he snarled. 'Did you do this?' His voice dripped with venom. You raised an eyebrow.

'Yes, I did, I made you-'

'You fucking idiot! Do you know how much time I spend cleaning this? I can't just flick my wrist for everything you mortal ruin! You are unbelievable! You ungrateful creature! I knew mortals were stupid, but this crosses the line!'

'I'm trying to say I made you-'

'Shut up! I don't want to hear it,' he snarled. 'I knew coming to this planet was a bad idea. But that oh so fantastic brother of mine thought they were grateful and kind. Ha! What a mistake!' He laughed without mirth. You eyes filled with water. He just made it very clear that he saw you way beneath him. He was superior, you got it. But it stung. You didn't really got why he was so angry at you, you had a great surprise for him. You swallowed a sob and dared to look him in the eye, although your tears streamed down your face by now. You wiped them away.

'I made you dinner,' you said, more quiet than a whisper. He dropped his angry attitude and replaced it with a guilty one. 'It's on the table in the living room. I wanted to surprise you because you were gone for so long.' He fidgeted with his fingers, looking down at them. You frowned and walked passed him, but he stopped you by grabbing your shoulder.

'Sorry for that,' he began. 'I think I'm just tired and I could definitely use a meal right now.' He paused. 'why don't you show me what you prepared?' You glared at him.

'I told you,' you said coldly. 'It's in the living room. I go off to bed now. Seen that my presence is not needed anyway.' You huffed, but he once again stopped you.

'Please, Y/N. I can see you put great effort in it. I would like your company now. I've been isolated for a week. I crave human interaction.'

'Human interaction?' you taunted with a sarcastic undertone.

'Don't rub in in,' he growled. You smirked, then rolled you eyes.

'So I'm good enough now that you know I prepared food for you?' you snapped and freed yourself from his grip.

'Oh, don't say that. I didn't mean it like that. You know I don't like it when you are like this.'

'Perhaps you should stop arguing if you don't want to eat alone,' you interrupted him as you took him by the arm and dragged him to the living room.

There were candles lit, large, porcelain plates and folded napkins on the table with different glasses of wine you had just placed randomly on the table. But you hoped it looked at least a little romantic.

'Wow,' Loki said breathlessly. You straightened you back, proud of his reaction.

'Sit down,' you commanded.

You filled his plate with some potatoes, meat and your favourite vegtables. Which may or may not be from a package because your self made sauce failed miserably. He took a bite, and so did you.

'And?' you asked hopefully, taking a bite.

'Well... It's delicious, really, but...' He smirked and you glared at him.

'Watch your tongue. Be nice,' you warned him as you pointed your fork at him. He chuckled and took another bite from his meat.

'But I don't believe you cooked this,' he snickered. You face fell, but the, your grinned.

'I thought you saw the evidence in the kitchen,' you teased, sipping your water.

'Don't remind me,' he groaned. You giggled, pouring some wine in his fancy glass. 'Thank you, darling.' You smiled.

'So... the kitchen.' He threw an angry look at you.

'What about it?'

'You're going to clean it with a flick of your wrist, right?' you said with a sparkle of hope, but his facial expression made that hope falter.

'You're going to clean it up,' he said with an irritated bite from his beans. 'But I'll help you because I don't want you to place the pans in the wrong cupboard.' You giggled.

'You're such a gentleman. Helping a girl out for the right reasons,' you teased with an innocent smile.

'If you don't stop that now, I'll give you a reason to start running, honey.' You face grew pale, but he only winked at you, leaving you questioning his intentions...
