It was now 6am in the morning and I jumped back and nearly banged my head off the wall when I saw Malcolm, Rose and Dad all sat there chatting quietly
"Really guys, we don't do that" came my tired voice "excuse me now I need the loo"
They let me go and I came back and dad sat me back on my bed and Malcolm closed the bedroom door of the station
"You three are scaring me" I said as I whisked my eyes over them all
Dad placed his hands on my knee and tapped his fingers on them to calm me as he knew it was one way to calm me if I got to worried or stressed
"So Jones tell us how was school?" Malcolm asked
"Normal as per usual" I half lied
Sam squeezed my knees to show it wasn't to believable but in a way only they knew
"We know you got covered in mud and your not normally the messy type Jones" Dad said
"Oh funny I tripped" I lied
"Hm, Jones, Your jacket did have someone else finger prints on it" Rose said
Sam rubbed my knees to calm me before I answered the question
"Sneaky but maybe" I said "Fine someone pushed me in the mud and covered me head to toe face and all in mud, they told me to cover my mouth or close it so mud didn't get in there, mud however got into my nose, which was actually very uncomfortable believe me"
"Hmm, why didn't you tell us this yesterday?" Malcolm asked
"I don't know, just worried I guess" I sigh as my eyes blink and I let the worry shine through so dad holds me tight and rubs my back
"Your sending me back into school arnt you?" I ask
Sam nodded and said "I'll need to find who did this but yes you are to answer your question go get changed in the bathroom, mums upstairs if you wish to see her"
"Derh, I ain't going to school without saying good morning, goodbye and love you to my parents was I dad?" I said as I hugged my dad right
"Morning dad, goodbye if I don't see you before I leave and I love you" I say before I head off to get changed
"Somethings not adding up" Malcolm muttered "First her water bottle and her shoes go missing and now she gets pushed into the mud by someone"
"True, she still isn't telling who did it and who took her belongings" Rose said
"Jones can become quite quiet when struggled" Sam said "Harry, Helen and Mark suggest it's a trauma response"
They nodded and they saw Jones off
