Me and my parents and the rest of the party were back in the hotel. Steele was busy in his own hotel room trying to call Boyce, Elvis and Arnold.

When he got off the phone with them, they had apparently made som progress but somethings still needed time to figure out.

Before me and my parents went to bed I turned on the air conditioner. Then we all fell asleep. It was nice and cool which helped us to sleep.

I was first asleep, followed by Sam then Penny. Ellie and the others ti were sleeping peacefully like we were.

The next morning me and dad woke up to breakfast cooked by mum and Ellie. Steele, Rose and Lucy were there also. It smelled so good and tasted so good also.

Then me and dad with the others went to Gilbert fire and rescue station 3. I smiled. We were all having fun in America.

Before this dad checked up and in on the others and told them they were ready to go and once the others were ready, Ellie got the van ready. Said it would save us from getting heatstroke. Can't argue with that eh.

Once there we got out. We saw a fire engine from engine 2540 being washed next to the ambulance that they had which was Medic 253.

They also had a ladder also. It was called the ladder Tender. Ladder truck 253. Next to it was the station officers car (Battalion chief 252). They were all out on a rescue at this given time though.

Sam had been speaking to the firefighters while I was with mum by engine 2540. They were all happy to see me and us as we and me were happy to see them.

The best part, debatable with some, was when they shown us the details of the new vechiles sent to Pontypandy from them.

The vechiles that they had sent would be used as spares with the Chicago ones to help the ease of maintenance in Newtown. As even though Jones and Lola could fix fire engines. They wouldn't be able to do several a day. Not even together.

Ellie also had a spare ambulance.

Dad told them all about my passion about becoming a firefighter like him and Penny.

They were very proud of me and I thanked them a lot. Then I said I had always wanted to be a firefighter ever since I put out my first fire at age 5.

A tour of the station was in order and one started almost immediately. While on to our way we found out about more about the station and I golf them more about my cadet training. Ellie and Penny were shown the medical supplies.

A firefighter then asked for a practice drill of an emergency response before they asked me if I wanted in. I said yep almost immediately. I couldn't say no to this.

My parents with Grandad Steele and Ellie also joined in while Rose and Lucy watched.

The drill started at the sound of the station fire alarm. Everyone then moved to the trucks to the training facility.

HQ of the GFRD had allowed me to practise the emergency response as well. Penny, Sam even Ellie we're also apart of it to, they to had a go if they wanted to of course.

Steele watched and he enjoyed seeing me, his granddaughter smiling as I learned and did more train drills.

Once Sam and Penny arrived they to watched as they trained on there own training tower. The station officer asked me "if we had a training tower". I said we "did" and that it was "quite tall"

Expect this one that they was at right now was a lot bigger then Pontypandy's.

I watched to the end of the drill and the drill was a huge success. I cheered.

We then headed back to station 3 where we saw the other trucks waiting after they arrived from there Emergancy call out. I was showed the ladder truck, ladder tender truck as well as the stations officer car.

I smiled and shook all there hands as I did so. I quite enjoyed this. One day, young Jones, you will be able to aide your mum and dad and the crew you've grown up with in an emergency very soon, just wait a lil longer.
