Malcolm meets the Sub

Malcolm arrived at the school and saw the front doors open and he knew Jones's route from the front door to her classroom from Sam himself

As he walked there he saw lights turn on, like they hadn't been on for a while and he thought this was odd but he soon arrived at Jones's classroom

He looked inside and saw a teacher and a the person he was looking for so he opened the door

"Malcolm" I smile and ran to him

He saw my belongings and grabbed them before he held me and he saw the look on the subs face, let's say he wasn't too pleased

"Who are you?" He asked

Malcolm pushed me behind him and then said "I'm Malcolm Williams, Police Constable of Pontypandy Police force"

Mr Spellman looked shocked before he found his voice and said "Why are you here?"

"To inform you on safeguarding" Malcolm said

Mr Spellman looked at him and said "I followed it so I don't see the problem"

"You didn't follow it though, one point of safeguarding is telling the parents where there children or child is at all times if not in there hold" Malcolm said "Unfortunately her parents Sam Jones and Penny Jones weren't told this time causing them to worry and a bunch of other people and forces to worry also"

He rolled his eyes so Malcolm sighed and the said "When issuing detention outside of school hours, the pupil's safety should remain a paramount consideration and the pupil should not be put at risk of harm"

"One way of safeguarding against this would be to inform parents of the detention" Malcolm said crossly

I started to feel the tension and I started to hold Malcolm's arm and he saw it out of his corner of his eye and then said "so Mr?"

"Spellman" he quipped

"Mr Spellman" He said angrily "I will be taking young Jones home now"

"She hasn't even done it fully yet" he argued

"She's elven" Malcolm said "Also as you didn't inform the parents of her staying after school due to a Dention, this could be classed as taking but I let it slip and I'll take Jones home now"

"You can't do that, I could probably get fired if you take her away from her Dention" He said

"Hm, have you been fired before?" Malcolm asked

"No" he defended himself

Malcolm radioed rose to check on Mr Spellman and his credentials, rose hummed and came back with "He's been fired for being a spy while he was spying on the whole firehouse of firehouse 51 up in Chicago fire department"

"So, thanks Rose, I'm on with Jones now" Malcolm radioed back

It went silent and Mr Spellman then said "How did you know about that?"

"We have our ways" Malcolm said "So I'm taking Jones with me and thanks to you she's missed Cadets, fire cadets was luckily cancelled by Boyce was a no show and when everyone got worried about her"

Malcolm held my hand and took me to the car

I looked worried so I accidentally dug my nails into his hand and he noticed so he crouched down and placed his hands on my shoulders

I looked up at him, a frown appearing on my face

"Hey Jones calm" he said

"But my parents, they probably think I've been kidnapped again" I say

"Trust me Rose will tell them I've got you now" Malcolm assured me

I still felt unsure

"Want to go straight home to them?" Malcolm asked

I nodded and I checked the passenger footwell to see if there was anything I could accidentally step on, there wasn't

"Jones, where are your shoes?" Malcolm asked once we both in

"I don't know Malcolm" I lied

I didn't want Dad or anyone to find out about the three kids just yet

"Hm" Malcolm said as she checked my bag before he saw my water bottle was also missing in my lunchbox but he passed me my phone"

As I turned it on I saw missed calls from numerous people a bunch of texts

"Jones where's your shoes and water bottle" Malcolm asked before we drove off

I just shrugged my shoulders as I really didn't want to talk about it right there and then and hoped I didn't need to talk about it

We drove off in silence but Malcolm kept looking at me with worried looks as he know has no shoes or water bottle
