Teacher Trouble

The day after

After a good night sleep we were all awake and watching a movie on the tv to we heard a knock on the door

We all looked confused and dad went to open the door

It was Lucy and her dad Stephen

"Hello" Sam said "Don't think we met Sam"

"Stephen" He said as he offered his hand to Sam and Sam shook it

"We have something for you two" Lucy said as she passed me and Penny something

We opened the gift and saw a 3D logo badge of the Pontypandy fire service

I smiled and we thanked them

They walked in once Sam let them in and they respected my no shoes in my bedroom policy

Penny closed the door and Sam made us all drinks

As we all sat down Stephen asked my dad "how I had managed to keep an eye on and look after Lucy until he found and reached the lifeguard tower"

Dad said "Ask Penny she was there"

So he did and Penny told him the full story, from the moment she found him to the moment I did a through medical checkup on her to the moment she headed off to the hospital with her dad via an ambulance

He shook my hand and I shook it back and I couldn't keep my eyes of Lucy and she couldn't keep her eyes off mine, we felt a bond, but it was a bond neither of us could place a finger on yet

Dad then told both Stephen and Lucy that I had the potential of becoming a brilliant firefighter and maybe even become better then him

I blushed deeply as I loved firefighting and I really really wanted to become a firefighter as my full time job

Stephen shook my hand and said "I would make a brilliant firefighter as I definitely had the capabilities to do so and that he was proud of me"

I thanked him and then Stephen told us about Lucy's past and we all listened intently and Rose had been called incase it was true and it was so he got crews dispatched and got Malcolm alongside Aston and Oscar to head out to London to assist if needed

The discrimination had been true and with crews assisting to sort it out, Lucy now became weary of heading to school up here in Newtown but the rest of us including her dad assured her it wouldn't happen here in Newtown and Pontypandy

We had been all shocked and surprised when we heard the news but we didn't show Lucy how we reacted incase she shut down and refused to talk openly about her past anymore and she seemed to trust us

He then told them how they had moved from London to Newtown in the Xmas holidays as not to miss to much but he had enrolled her in Newtown primary for a few months to see if she liked it

Sam and Penny told Stephen that I attend Newtown primary and that they were welcome to have help of both Sam and Penny or either one of they if needed as well as help from me myself and the Pontypandy fire station as well as the Pontypandy police station

I told Lucy she could call for help at school if she needed to and she'd be in Y6 the year above me as she was also held a year back unlike me who was held two years back due to my past

Stephen then told us how her mum didn't care about Lucy's education and how he did and that he wanted Lucy go get far in life and enjoy it

Lucy managed to completely trust me, dad, mum and our dog Radar by the time her dad decided it was time to go after numerous cups of tea and I showed Lucy where our toilets were and she went before heading home with her dad back to Newtown

Penny put my logo on the shelf and she headed upstairs with Sam

I followed a little later my eyes finally coming off the door as Lucy's dads car had veered of the street a while ago

The bond was strong and I fed Radar and fussed him before I also headed upstairs

Who knew however though that Lucy (Yes the Lucy who had just been in the Jones's residence) would be my soulmate

Me and Lucy in the future would fall in love and get married but Penny only knew this at this time and she decided to let me figure it out for myself like she had done with James and Hannah

I had met Lucy at age eleven and Lucy had met me at age twelve
