Penny wouldn't let go of Jones

Penny was cuddling me and was assuring me that she was okay and that she wasn't going anyway

Soon the food came and Penny saw myk eyes follow the tray so penny pressed the button and they came in the room and told Penny she couldn't eat but penny said "But my daughter can, and your not going to let her starve are you?"

They shook there heads and asked for allergies so Penny responded "Strawberries, Oranges, sweetcorn"

They went to get a children's meal and penny tapped my cheek and said "dinner is on way" and she planted a kiss on my forehead

They gave penny my meal and left

I craned my head to look at it and Penny said "It's sausages and some chips and some peas"

"Sausages" I smile

Penny cut them up for me and gave me the fork and I ate some and Penny kept me close

She was making sure I stayed safe and after freaking me out to the point of being sick she felt it was her duty to do so

I ate most of it and then asked for the pudding which was a chocolate crumble

I saw penny put a tiny bit on a spoon so I could try a bit and I took it off her and tried it

I nodded and ate half of it before I said "Full mama"

The hospital staff took it away and Dr Halestead came in to check on penny and saw me fast asleep curled up into her

"Your daughter?" He asked

"Yep" Penny said "Her names Jones"

He checked penny's temperature and everything else without moving me and before he left they saw Sam walk in with a smile on his face and a cup of tea and coffee

"Can she have tea doc?" Sam asked and Penny was glaring at him

"Of course she can, don't wake Jones up though" Dr Halstead said

"I won't" Sam said as he passed the tea to penny "I'm her dad and Penny's husband"

They kissed and he chuckled and said "Shall I leave you three be?"

Penny nodded and he left them and Penny showed Sam me fast asleep my head resting on her arm

"Awh, she did get worried about you and according to Ellie she wouldn't stop crying for you and me" Sam said "Steele said the same thing and she wouldn't calm in his hold and she normally does"

"To be honest I freaked her out" Penny said as she downed her tea in one go

"How did you freak her out?" Sam asked

"Eating then running to be sick, Sam remember Jones has a fear of being sick and anything to do with sick" Penny mumbled

She then felt movement and then they saw two emerald green eyes flash up at them

"Mumma?" I ask

"Hey Jones mummy's still here, you had nice nap?" Penny asked

I nodded but didn't move from my position

"Comfy" I yawn

"Daddy's here" Penny said

"Hm but mumma poorly" came the reply

"I'll be okay" Penny said as she smiled at his comfy I looked

Ellie knocked the door and said "Can I come in?"
