Check up

I hid in my dads wardrobe, I wasn't getting checked out when I didn't need to

Sarah offered to go first and everyone thanked her and Sam continued to look for me knowing I couldn't of gone to far

Sarah got her eyes checked as well as her throat and her reflexes and she got nervous but Ellie and Penny stopped to calm her and they checked her weight and height as well as her eye sight

They checked her diet and for any infections or illness and Sarah had none but her top of injections was done on the caution of being safe

Once done Sarah was given the tv and Penny checked in on Hannah and James and Hannah was checked over by Penny once again and said the cold was still lingering and she saw saw James snuggle mire into her and Hannah said "He was up all night"

"James" Penny said as she pinched her nose and then said "You to need to sleep"

"But Hannah's I'll" James said

"Awh, he wants to take care of you Hannah" Penny smiled softly "Look after him"

Hannah promised she would but didn't miss how Hannah gave his head a kiss once he was asleep

Penny saw Sam in there bedroom and she joined him and together they found me in his wardrobe

"Jones, there you are" Sam said

"Always been here" I said

"We'll Sarah's had her medical you need yours now" Penny said

"No thanks" I said

"Please?" Penny said "Won't take long"

"No" I said as I tried to close the wardrobe doors

Sam had kept the doors opened using a scarf

"No, close" I begged

Sam left as he couldn't he hear his daughter say no yo something that had to be done, he didn't like it when his daughter was upset but he sat in her room without his shoes on and he smiled at how she had decorated it

She had a picture of her and him of him in his fire uniform hung up and he saw his old fire uniform jacket on her bed

He then realised she only really slept with it if she missed him

He heard cries come from the bedroom and he knew she was having it done in his and Penny's bedroom with Ellie and Penny as they had called the hospital but saw it was backlogged

I cooperated with them even if I didn't want it but when it came to the needle I tried to escape but mum held me and I squirmed

"Jones please stay still" Ellie said

"Want daddy not this" I cry

Ellie held my arm as she did the annual injections

I had gone quiet and once I was let go I ran off to find dad

"Probably will need to apologise to her" Penny said

"She's upset isn't she?" Ellie asked

Penny nodded and said "doesn't Boyce need one and Steele to?"

Ellie nodded and said "Boyce first"

Ellie went to where Sarah was on the sofa watching tele who was already asleep and had a nap and Penny took a nap in hers and Sam's bed and as they did so Jones was calling for her dad and Sam heard so he picked her up and he then put me down and before I could even pout he took of his jacket and put it on me before he picked me up again

He kissed my head and apologised

He rocked me back and forth and he knew I just wanted to be held as I was relaxed and snuggled

He joined the other two downstairs who were asleep and he sat down and I curled up into his lap

Sam fell asleep and Penny came down and surveyed the scene, she left a note saying she was gonna do the medical exam on Boyce and left to do it

She didn't see a pair of emerald green eyes watching her the whole time as she did so but I couldn't be bothered to un curl off my dads lap, I had missed dad and I wouldn't let him out of my sight for while
